everything was cut and dry ordering from amazon. have always ordered thru amazon and will continue to due so. have not been able to use the switch i ordered because the problem turned out to be something else in the electrical system.

Received the dimmer switch promptly. Took 10 minutes to pop out the dash trim on my GMC Yukon and had the new switch installed. Works perfect. Great deal - I figure I saved well over $100 by purchasing it here and installing myself.

The dashboard lights stopped working on my husbands '02 Chevy Silverado 2500. He checked with the dealership, and they said it was probably this item that failed. The dealership wanted over twice the price offered through Amazon. We ordered the part and my husband installed it and everything works fine.
