The first bolt I shot broke the fin on. The second bolt I missed my target, lost that bolt. The third shot, I hit my target. After getting the sites set, I started having fun. I'm glad I bought extra bolts. I'm starting to get the hang of it.

I picked one of these up at a local junk store for about fifteen bucks about ten years ago, it's cheap construction requires Allen wrench repairs once every ten shots or so, or just use some superglue on the bolt. The power on this thing really surprised me. From about two feet away, this puppy has enough power to fire a regular wooden pencil, the impact on a cardboard box snaps the pencil in three different pieces! Accuracy at long distances is somewhat fair, considering the amazon 20 dollar price tag, I lost the bolts that came with it a long time ago and now just use Hotel pens at close range (3-5ft) targets. The plastic pens shatter on impact at a close range on a hard target.Pros: Power, cost, ease of use Cons: Accuracy, cheap construction in the bow area, sights are poor quality As a kid, all the neighborhood kids were jealous of this crossbow, would defiantly recommend this for your teenage child, just be sure to keep an eye on them while they use it!

when i first got it came in different pieces. when you got everything assembled you have to string it. before you do that you have to put the ends on.when it was done i went and shot it in my backyard and it broke. you should glue the bar ends on. when it broke everything when flying off and i couldnt find them. so i had to order different parts
