5.0 out of 5 stars Ace white knee braces
For some reason, all the local stores (Walmart, CVS, etc.) have stopped carrying this item. all they have are the more expensive (bad), black (very hot in summer in AZ), velcro fastened (good) braces. 2.0 out of 5 stars Good compression but keeps rolling down...
The compression level is very good for comfort but the top of the brace keeps rolling down and that becomes very uncomfortable. Nothing I tried has kept that problem in check so I stoped using. Wish that roll-down was not an issue because brace does help the knee feel better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Most Excellent Light Knee Brace, December 8, 2009
This review is from: ACE Knee Brace (Health and Beauty)
I kinda jacked up my knee a bit in Judo so I use this light brace and it really helps. I have also been using it when I run. Since it is a "light" brace, they say you can wear it all the day long, though I never would.

I just use it when I am doing my activities like Judo, running, and weight lifting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sizing needs review, January 22, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The product works as advertized, however people should be careful following the sizing guidelines. According to the guidelines, I should have purchased a medium. I am very glad I did not. The large fits very tight as it is. The medium would have been a disaster.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good support, July 2, 2010

This product is not for severe cases of knee pain. However, it provides good support and, above all, it "breathes" and it's not so hot as the neoprene supports.
I alternate between this one and a stronger neoprene version, depending on my activities for the day.

My wife has used these on both knees for years. She is very active, hiking, biking, aerobics, etc., and she would not be able to do these things without these knee braces.

We usually can't find Smalls in local stores, so it's great that Amazon offers them.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's not a pair, December 4, 2011

OK, I probably should have realized this but socks, gloves etc come in pairs.

Large fits snuggly for my leg, which is 16" circumference above the knee and 14 below.

My previous Ace supports lasted well for years. This new one is an inch or more taller than the older ones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Basic Ace knee brace, November 19, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This plain knee brace with a little side support is among the best for controlling knee discomfort. In my experience of several years now with oncoming arthritic knees, no longer well enough controlled by supplements, this Ace is King. I find many of the more complex and more costly designs I have tried don't keep me as comfortable as this basic Ace. I stocked up on a bunch from this online dealer.

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful!, September 24, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This was Awful, I had twisted and needed a soft brace, before this arived I was jusing a regualr Ace type bandage. That was much better than this. I measured my leg to make sure that I had ordered the correct size. but once I put it on it either would slide down or roll on it self. I didn't even use it for more than 8 hours before I couldn't stand it anymore. I then went back to just the regular old bandage that gave me light support and moved with me during the day. I'm just glad my knee is better but no thanks to this product.
