One would think that purchasing a DVD seminar on a product, would include a section on describing how to use the product, the basics on creating a new project, etc. Instead, the video only discusses the new features of Acid Pro 7, which is fine if it advertised itself as such, it does not.

When the video goes over how to use some of the new features, it flies through them without taking a moment for the user to actually find what is being discussed or open the appropriate files. And quite frankly, had I prior knowledge of Acid Pro, this video would still be a rip-off. There are just three examples they use and even though reading online help can be a bit tedious, this information is accessible with just using the interactive tutorials that comes Acid Pro.

Quite frankly a waste of money. Hard to believe they have the gall to sell it online at the sony website and in some stores for $99. Ridiculous.

After enjoying a Sony Seminar on "VEGAS VIDEO" which took you through a short video project that used many of the tools, I thought this would be an equally good purchase. I was going from an earlier version of Acid and wanted to know more about using it do film soundtracks. In short this contained the answer to every question I would never ask. It was far too technical and gave me no idea of how to even set up a film/sound sync. I didn't expect it to be all about video, but I thought I'd at least learn what buttons to push to do a simple song with a few effects added. The practical info was delivered on the fly with no projects. Skip this one and find a good book!!

EXTRA INFORMATION IN THE SECOND DISK I GIVE ZERO ON THIS SEMINARIE.
AND TO EXPENCIVE FOR A LITTLE INFORMATION. NOGOOD
