Editorial Reviews

Review

"This is a useful and necessary third edition because ACLS guidelines are continuously changing. The goal of ACLS is to provide not only rapid, but also effective treatment strategies. Therefore it is helpful to have a review guide that reflects the most recent AHA recommendations. This book's most impressive aspect is that it presents the core topics in a direct and concise manner, that makes it a quick read and easy to understand. 3 Stars."--Doody's Review Service (Doody's )

This review does NOT reflect the changes of the 2007 revised ACLS.
The book has old, outdated information which is no longer applicable, nor recommended.
Also I found a question that was repeated and had TWO OPPOSITE ANSWERS.
Best just to use the Algorithm cards to pass the exam.

the american heart book that comes with the acls course is just as good-i found it almost confusing with way too much info that wasn't needed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Insight is better than hindsight, March 7, 2011

With North American publications relating to our profession, it is necessary to determine if they are applicable to our region.
Not being able to view a sample like with novels, it is folly to spend so much.

Thanks to our American cousins I have avoided a pitfall, please could more reviews on our topic within the Kindle realm be performed.
Cheers from Australia
