I originally bought this style of Acorn slipper 10 plus years ago and wore them until the stitching was falling out. I decided I needed a new pair and bought these. Still same great comfort as before. I plan to wear them for many years to come.

A warning when I bought these slippers I clicked the size option "X-Large (US Men's 10-11 M)" and I was sent the wrong size slipper which turned out to be Mens 12-13 size.

Listed below is Acorn specification for sizes hope it helps other people from making the same mistake.

XX-Small (Ladies 5 1/2 - 7)
X-Small (Ladies 7 1/2 - 8 1/2)
Small (Ladies 9 - 10 / Mens 7 1/2 - 8 1/2)
Medium (Ladies 10 1/2 - 11 1/2 / Mens 9 - 10)

I had heard that Acorn socks were not the same and were being made over seas. It's true they are not as good as the original product. They are thinner,shorter and not as warm and to top it off, one pair had missed stitching on the seam which left a 3" hole in the sock. Sorry that the REAL THING is no longer made and will try to make my old ones last!!!! They were never cheap but they are now over priced for the quality!!

These are great socks. Nice and thick, they make your feet warm and cozy. My toes are always cold in the winter, so I was pleased when I found these socks. I found they fit true to size. Even after washing they are still thick and close fitting. I have four pairs. Now it's 2011 and I just ordered another pair for me and 2 pairs for someone else for Christmas.

The fit is very narrow in the foot and lower leg. Also, size runs small in general - I am a women's size 6.5-7 shoe, I ordered size 7-8 and it was short. Had to return them. AND the return process was difficult.

I received the slippers, and I like them - except for one thing. The way that the sizing is listed is totally confusing. I sent them back for a smaller size, but as of one month later, I still have not received the new ones. I hope they come soon

These socks are really nice. I got them to wear with my prima loft slippers on my super ice cold floors and they do the trick. When I take them off my feet are toasty warm to the touch. I wear a woman's 9 and the 8.5-9.5 is a perfect fit. I have another pair of fleece socks from another manufacturer that do not have a defined heel and they tend to move around just a bit. These Acorn socks have a defined heel and they stay in place and fit better. The material is the right amount of thickness and very soft. While I wished there was a better selection in my size I am not complaining....and they arrived in my mailbox two days earlier than the first date of the estimated shipping window! I love my socks.

I bought these as a gift and my friend loves them. She uses a wheelchair for mobility and her feet are usually cold because of the circulatory problems created by immobility. These slippers help keep her comfortable without turning up the heat and they also protect the bottoms of her feet. Great price too!

I used her old pair to find out who made the slippers and then used to Internet to follow up.
I am VERY pleased with the slippers and I am happy to know that next time I'll know exactly where to go.

These are very comfortable, fit true to size, and are fleecy soft and warm. Wish they had those little bottom textural things that prevent slipping, which my last pair had. Other than that, they're great.

the socks were comfortable even though a bit bigger than advertised- very soft and wash well! the color and pattern were better than expected!
