5.0 out of 5 stars The Wife Loves Them!
My wife raves about these and wears them daily here in the cold Michigan weather. The memory foam is a nice touch. I would say that they run slightly larger than normal, so don't be too worried about ordering them too small. My wife wears a 7.5/8 and I ordered the 8-9M and should have gotten the smaller ones.

2.0 out of 5 stars Really wanted to love these
I ordered the Geo Sunrise pattern, which is not shown here for some reason. After all the great reviews, I was expecting to love these slippers. On the positive side, the brightly colored pattern was very cute, and they were soft and warm. They look reasonably well made.
On the negative side, they were just a tad narrow for my small, but wide feet. My toes felt a...

I read the reviews on these slippers before purchasing and purchased a size smaller. I'm glad I did. Normally I wear 8.5; I purchased the 6.5-7.5 and they fit perfectly. These slippers are very warm and comfortable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Slippers EVER!, January 18, 2009

These slippers are amazing - comfort, warmth and your feet actually stay in them! I got this pair for my sister for Christmas, who lives in Mass. (definitely a place where you need hardcore slippers) and now every female in my family has a pair. The memory foam is great as it molds to your feet but still gives you cushy support. You can also wear these slippers anywhere with the rubber soles. Basically if you're not too worried about having "cute" slippers, these are your best bet.

4.0 out of 5 stars One Of The Best!!!, October 26, 2009
This review is from: ACORN Women's Polar Moc (Apparel)
Have worn Acorn slippers for years; they last and last! Comfy, sturdy, warm and easy to wash. We've noticed the fit has gotten a little smaller, now that they are made in China. Two things we would like--better sizing, a slightly narrower fit or sized in narrow and wide, as well as, individual sizes, not multi-sized AND even though they are cushioned, more would be better, with a little arch support. We like the tex moc and polar moc styles, the best. Don't ever want to be without them! We love them!

4.0 out of 5 stars great slippers!, February 12, 2009

I love these slippers, they are durable and so comfy. The reason why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because they ran pretty big and when I order my normal size, they are too big, resulting in me having to send them back and having to get a smaller size, wasting time and money. Other than that I am very pleased with them and will get another pair, to keep on hand when these wear out.

These.are.the.best.slippers.ever! I have given at least 2 pairs as gifts. I have owned at least 2 pairs. They are very warm and cushy. The rubber sole allows me to walk outside with the dogs, and is nice for traction on our hardwood floors. I wear an 8 in sneakers...the womens L(8-9) is too big for me. I have to wear the womens M(6.5-7.5). The L would be ok if i wore socks with them...but i don't...they would be too warm!

On the negative side, they were just a tad narrow for my small, but wide feet. My toes felt a bit cramped. But the real problem for me was that I was expecting substantial cushioning from an Acorn slipper, and it just wasn't there. I need some arch support, and these had none. Also, our kitchen floor is ceramic tile and pretty hard to stand on for long periods. I could feel the floor right through these, even with the rubber soles. Unfortunately, I will be returning them.

These are so comfortable that I forget that I am in slippers - I head outside with the dogs and end up getting mud on them a couple of times. They are super easy to clean and have washed them 2 times already in the machine after having them for about a month and no problems at all with the earlier reported sole separating.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for only 1 year of heavy use but I still love them, January 19, 2012
This review is from: ACORN Women's Polar Moc (Apparel)
I live in a very cold northern state and from mid-September to April I wear my Acorns at minimum 10-12 hrs on an average day. In the "old" days of Acorn products (like 7 or more years ago) their slipper products lasted many years. Now I can tell you that if you wear them as much as I do (and I do wash them once a month) you will get approximately 1 year or less out of the fleece mocs with a plastic sole. Two chronic problem areas: their seam at the toes will come undone and I've tried to have them fixed at a shoe store but they said they wouldn't/couldn't do it/wasn't worth it. Every single pair I've owned in the last several years has developed this problem within a year. Also, the lining on the inside will wear a hole or 2. So why do I keep buying a new pair of Acorns every year? Because I haven't found a washable slipper that is as attractive, comfortable and warm as these. I feel I can justify the annual purchase given the abuse these slipper take. In the "old" days when they made the moc soles from leather, the toe seams stayed intact much longer. My husband and I have been wearing only Acorns for 30 years. He doesn't wear his nearly as often as I do, and he has had the same pair for several years now. Also, I am a female with shoe size 9. I find the L is a tad too small but the XL is a sloppy fit (and this proves that the toe seam will come undone whether my toes are pushing against the front or not). Last year I got the XL, this year I will go back to the L.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cozy, Warm!, November 2, 2009

i ordered these mainly bc they had "hard" soles. i live in the midwest, winter is almost here & i needed some cozy, warm slippers. i wanted to be able to walk outside to get the mail or walk in my kitchen without my feet/socks getting wet from my dog. the fleece keeps my feet very warm but never too hot! these DO run a size too big. i wear size 10 womens in sneakers. i ordered size 8-9 womens(as sugg by other users) & they fit perfectly! i plan on ordering more :)
