I have been wearing Acorn slippers now for over 5 years. They are my favorite and have been a small luxury I have treated myself to since discovering them. I have found that Acorn slippers tend to run big as I am a size 8 but have always found the 6.5-7.5 to fit perfectly. They may seem snug at first, but they will stretch out a bit over time. On average, they last me about 2-3 years until I decide to buy another pair solely because the inside padding becomes worn down (I really love the inner "pillow-like" feel of a new pair of Acorn slippers). I would recommend these to anyone!

I have severe neuropathy in both feet (nerve damage and pain) and can't wear a backless slipper because I step out of them--my numb toes won't grip to keep them on---and most full shoe style slippers are uncomfortable. But the Acorns are great, love them! I read the feedback about them running a bit large, but I got the size 8-9M, I wear a size 9 shoe, and these are perfect. With my painful feet I can't have anything too tight fitting. LOVE these. Will buy again when I wear this pair out.

They were less substantial than I hoped. They were too big but the size options were limited.

I think these slippers might be comfortable if you like to wear socks and slippers. But as a barefoot slipper wearer, I found the seams abrasive. Also the Acorn logo inside dug into the soles of my feet.
I liked the colors and pattern but ended up returning them; I need something softer!

Just bought these (my third pair of Acorns). My 2 year old "spa wrap" (natural) Acorns were getting tired and worn out from being washed a bunch, so I bought the "tex bootie" (ocelot) ones this past winter, but as they are too warm for Florida most of the year I bought these "tex moc" (chinchilla) ones. There were a few reasons I didn't replace the spa wrap ones with more of the same 1) my floors get dirty and the fabric along the edge picks it up and darkens 2) I washed them a bunch to keep them clean, but the fabric along the edge got thin 3) I kept stepping on the backs (because I needed to bend down to get into them properly). The tex booties are great, but very warm (even more than I expected), a little tricky to get on straight out of the shower (at least for me), but they don't show dirt nearly as bad and are re-enforced along the edges near the floor (so I expect them to last better). These tex mocs just take the cake though. They look better in person that in pictures. Like the booties, they are re-enforced along the edges and don't show dirt. I can get my feet in and out of them without stepping on the heel or bending down (which is surprising since I ordered a Large and I'm a 8.5/9 - so maybe they run a bit big). They are plenty roomy width-wise too (I am on the wider side of normal but generally wear normal widths. They feel like heaven on. I'll be ordering more of these as gifts!

This is a wonderful slipper. It's warm, cozy and fully padded on the bottom. It's even hand washable. It's just the thing on crisp cold night after a day on your feet!

I was therefore initially giddy and gleeful at the prospect of getting that terrific Acorn quality at such a low price, but alas I guess you sometimes do get what you pay for...

I was lured in by the low price on these from what I feel is a trusted and beloved brand, as I proudly own many other different styles of slippers by Acorn, and those others of mine I just absolutely adore, in comparison to this pair my others just seem to offer significantly better support and just feel sturdier to me, better made in all aspects. I am disappointed in this particular pair, these feel a bit flimsier and cheaper in quality somehow?

I also do agree with another reviewer who commented on the interior seams being rough and uncomfortable on bare feet. To me that observation is correct, I can't bear to wear these without socks, but with socks they are better and I will keep them and wear them and try to learn to love them, it just shouldn't have to be an effort, I think it should be instantaneous love at first sight (or feel!) that's all!

These are nice slippers, they just seem to be similar to all of the standard average ho-hum slippers you could buy anywhere, nothing particularly special. Yes they will surely keep your feet warm and do look cute, but I was just hoping to get the same superior comfort and wow factor as I get from other Acorn slippers I own.

Report card: I rate these a 3 out of 5 or would give them a grade of a C with room for improvement needed!

I really liked the style. It is one of the better ones they have had in years. If possible, it would be better if exact sizes were available; i.e. 6 1/2, 7, 7 1/2. The product is very nicely made.

First: Huge thanks to all the reviewers who let us know to order a smaller size than we usually wear. I am a size 8 but, based on the other reviews, I bought these in the 6.5-7.5 size and they still feel slightly big. The size 8-9 would no doubt have been un-wearable.

For years I've worn the ballet-style slippers, very lightweight, machine wash and dry. Lately my aching feet have been demanding some cushion and the Acorns are obviously highly recommended for that. They're not lying. These things are definitely like little pillows under my feet and I love that.

It's just unfortunate that the sizing is so off. Even with the smaller size, they slip a little on my heel when I walk which is mildly annoying. With true sizing, I would have given these five stars, but I'm still granting four stars for being the most comfortable things I have ever had on my feet.

I purchased these slippers looking for something more substantial than the usual foam type slippers. The look like the picture. Another reviewer said, they run large, so I ordered a size down. I usually wear an 8 and I got the 6 1/2 -7 1/2. They are wide in the back half of the slipper, but the length is pretty true, so they are too short. I'm hoping the will stretch lengthwise. The next size 8-9 would have been too big. Maybe if you like to wear slippers with thick socks, the true size would work for you. The sole is a good indoor/outdoor sole and grabs well on my uncarpeted stairs. These seem pretty well made, but I think these are a bit overpriced.

Still haven't found my perfect slipper yet...
