Until I head about Acoustibuds, I was wondering if I'd EVER get all the sound my iPhone earbuds were capable of providing. I don't know if it's my ears or their buds, but I could tell I wasn't hearing it all - unless I held the buds in place with my fingers.

I saw a story about Acoustibuds, and they sounded like just what I needed. Well, they are.

The fins hold the buds in my ear canal, and also help minimize exterior noise. Since the Acoustibuds enclose the earbud, they also funnel all the sound directly to me. I keep a set on my earbuds and they're there when I need them.

I purchased the 3-size pack, since I haven't had my ears sized lately. It turns out that I am comfortable so far with the smallest set. I plan to keep the others available just in case.

Great price, great performance. can't beat that!

My ex-husband drives a crude oil tanker and it's extremely loud. He had a very hard time hearing callers with his Jawbone before trying the acoustibuds. He also had a problem with it falling out of his ear when he bent over at times. We tried all the other ear gels on the market and nothing else worked. When he started to wear the Acoustibuds, he actually had to turn down the volume on his earpiece, that's how much they improve the sound level. Also, he'd never had the Jawbone fall out, not once. He wears a size 5, but now likes the 4 better.

I couldn't wear them because my ear canal is very small (I am petite), even most small ear gels made by other manufacturers are too large for me, including those that came with my Bose in-earphones & every Bluetooth I ever tried (and then had to return). Any type of earpiece became very uncomfortable after a short time, even other aftermarket gel buds hurt my ears so badly that I could only stand them for 20 minutes or so at a time.

I could force the size 5 into my ear and it would stay for a while and didn't hurt, but was simply too large, so they'd fall out.

I wrote to the manufacturer asking if there was a smaller size available and they said that they had the 4 coming out and actually sent me a free trial pair, which was very nice. When we went out separate ways, my ex got custody of them, lol, because he liked how they fit him.

At last, there is now the size 4 available for sale and I snapped them right up. I can now wear my Bose earbuds in comfort and have tried them with hubby's Jawbone and could wear it comfortably. He was right about the noise cancelling properties, I have turned down the volume on my Bose earbuds and am looking forward to using them on my flight to Mexico this week, I think that they will muffle the engine noise nicely.

I can't recommend these highly enough. Would like to see them in black here on Amazon, but any color will do as long as I can have the size 4 :D

One caveat that is mentioned in the description: They don't work with every type of headset, so be sure to read the compatibility listing.

I purchased these based on the glowing reviews....I was looking for something to enhance the comfort on my iPod headphones, which irritate my ears after a short while. The noise reduction factor was also important.

When they arrived, I foudn that out of the three sets/sizes of the Acoustibuds, only the smallest remotely fit my ear, and even those were really a bit too big. The two larger sizes were huge. The largest size would probably fit my cat.

They were difficult to get into my ear properly, and I imagine doing so repeatedly would be stressful on the rubber and possibly tear them. Trying to adjust them created a suction which was uncomfortable.

Definitely not worth the trouble, and I returned them.

You would think that with three sixes offered at least one size would fit. Unfortunately I did not find this to be the case.

None of the three sizes of Acustibuds will bot fit into my ear canal. The only partial fit was attained by pressing the largest size onto my outer ear. This causes the Apple earbuds to be located outside my ears and makes it easier for them to fall off with any motion.

After trying several other solutions I found and recommend the Philips earhook headset SHH8006.

This is a top quality product that lives up to its advertising. They have eliminated my problem with slipping and falling ipod earphones during exercise. They keep the earphones in place during elliptical and treadmill workouts and while running and biking. I wouldn't be without them.

These little plastic attachments do exactly what they're advertised to do - they allow you to actually use the earbuds that come with ipods, cell phones, and mp3 players. I use an ipod/mp3-player every day; I own a few different types. I always buy my earbuds separately, though, because the earbuds that come with these players simply do not fit into my ear comfortably. Luckily I've kept all my old pairs; I probably have about a dozen of them. Now I can use them. I just slip on these soft little white things onto the ends, and they work just fine. Actually better. I was honestly surprised that the sound quality actually improved. I'm not an expert on audio quality, but I know I can hear my music and books on cd more clearly using these attachments.

Likewise, I use them on my BlackBerry headset. I don't use my cell that much, but when I do, I'd prefer not to have those microwaves so close to my brain. It's why I don't use Bluetooth - I don't know what the long-term effects are. The BlackBerry came with a decent wired headset, but again, it had those friggin' buds, so I mostly used the speakerphone when I could. Now I keep a set of these Acoustibuds on the headset, and it works like a charm.

I've had these things in my ears for hours at a time, and there's absolutely no pain for me. They're very comfortable.

The only drawback is that I've had the Acoustibuds fall off a couple of times when I was dragging them around with me. So I have to pay attention when I shove them in my pocket. Luckily I haven't lost one yet.

I purchase stuff from Amazon fairly regularly - once or twice a month. I usually don't like using outside vendors due to the added risk involved, but buying from these guys was just like buying from Amazon. The package came very quickly, etc. I would certainly buy something from them again.

I have yet to find a pair of ear buds that will fit and stay in my ears while I am workingout and running. I purchased these hoping they would work. Using the smallest size (4) I had to twist and manuver to get them into my ear- by then my ears were hurting. They would stay for a short while but once i started moving they began falling out of my ears. When I was running and sweating they would not stay in at all. This product did not work for me.

This is an amazing product. They slip right over your standard ipod earbuds and instantly make them 200 hundred percent better. you can listen to music with more enjoyment when all the voices and instruments are clearer and sharper. Podcasts are improved because outside noise is reduced, enabling you to hear the words you've been missing. Also, I've been concerned about the noise levels I've been exposed to lately. With these Acoustibuds, i can turn the volume down from 90% (dangerous) down to about 50%, or slightly below, and still fully enjoy whatever I'm listening to. I've made hundreds of purchases on Amazon, but the Acoustibuds are by far the best dollar for dollar buy ever.

I bought iPhone/iPOD earbud adaptors from both JLab Audio and Burton Technologies. Both vendors make acceptable adaptors but I found Burton's ribbed adaptors to be more comfortable than the flanged/plunger-like adaptors from JLab. The adaptors from Burton also fit more securely so that I can finally use my earbuds for running.
Finally, the 3 pairs of adaptors from JLab were all thrown into a single bag. Since the size differences are subtle and they are not marked, be prepared to spend several minutes sorting the six adaptors out by inserting/removing them from your ears. In contrast, Burton packages each pair into a separate bag clearly marked S, M, or L. Extra star to Burton for more thoughtful, convenient packaging!

When my puppy used my earbuds as a chew toy one day, I needed a replacement for the awesome adapters I bought at a running expo 5 years ago. I had been unable to find a comparable product until now. I liked that it came with different sizes; I use the medium size and gave the others to family to use. I use them for distance running, and they stay put for hours and have great sound quality. They are comfortable too, I barely notice they are there. Great product, I would definitely recommend them for anyone who needs them for an active lifestyle.
