The lozenges dissolve quickly and don't last long.

These are a great size and they taste just like mints, yet do the job for dry mouth.

I have very dry mouth from the medications I take and these lozenges are great.

I agree that these Act lozenges are expensive, which is probably why my Walgreen's discontinued them. However, they are the best product I have found for alleviating dry mouth, but you need to put them inside your cheek so they last longer. The effect lasted a good 2-4 hours for me, and when I consider how much replacing one single tooth in my mouth costs (for an implant), they are downright cheap in comparison. Think of it that way.
In case you didn't know, saliva has minerals that refill and keep your enamel healthy, and without it, your teeth will slowly demineralize, turn brownish yellow, (what happens to the elderly), and then decay.
I'm getting veneers on 6 of my teeth to prevent them from further deteriorating, and it is pricey. So even tho these lozenges are a tad spendy, the alternative is worse.
Also, when I sleep I mouth breathe and my teeth completely dry out, so I'm going to get a mouth guard (one that covers the front teeth - some don't), line it with Rx fluoride gel, and sleep with it in order to save my teeth.
Hope this helps someone.

I have very dry mouth from the medications I take and these lozenges are great. They make my mouth moist, and they even taste great. I would even reccomend these to other people with dry mouth.

Because of my dry mouth I was always sucking on cough drops. But my dentist said even the sugar free kind are bad for my teeth. The hygienist said to try to find xylitol lozenges because xylitol is good for the teeth. I was so happy to find these on Amazon; the drugstore is always sold out of them.

My throat feels better and I am not making myself drink water when I am not thirsty and that is a good thing.

I choose that rating because they are one of the few things that help my dry mouth I have an immune difency and don't produce moisture and these actually work I wish they had more flavors.

I take a lot of prescription medications, and for that reason, I always had a very dry, sticky mouth. I was told to sip water or get some hard candy to use, but neither of them worked either. I went to my doctor and got a prescription for my dry mouth. It was a pill that stimulated the saliva glands to produce more of it, but it went too far. My saliva glands produced way too much. So, what was I to do. Well, as a last resort, I tried this ACT Dry Mouth Rinse. I didn't get noticeable results right away, but it was a nice mouth rinse including fluoride. So, I continued my use of it twice a day for 1 minute. After a while I began to notice that my mouth wasn't nearly as dry as it had been before. The only thing that could have been changing this was the ACT Dry Mouth since I had quit doing anything else. If you use it as directed and keep it up faithfully, your dry mouth will get better. It may not be as "perfect" as you want, but in my position, any help was welcome. I love this product!

Biotene products taste awful and cost way too much. Act has it in the bag. These are a great size and they taste just like mints, yet do the job for dry mouth. I use them at the office when I have alot of meetings or need to talk during presentations. I love these and they are always in my purse.

Didn't work for me. Will go back to xylimelts. Also slippery elm might work. I used to use sugar free life savers but felt too much citric acid probably not good.
