About the Author
Michael Roberts is the classic American entrepreneur. Born to middle class hard working parents, educated in the St. Louis public school system, he worked his way through college and law school to become one of St. Louis' leading businessmen. Throughout his rise in business, Mr. Roberts maintained a strong commitment to the African-American community from which he came. Locating his headquarters in the heart of this community, his endeavors over the last twenty-nine years have created thousands of jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities, raised the level of economic activity and enhanced the quality of life for the African-American community. Mr. Roberts' broad range of professional knowledge and experience developed as both a business owner and public official (St. Louis Board of Aldermen, 1977-1985) encompasses the application of innovative financing strategies for large public projects, public-private sector development negotiation strategies, and successful management techniques for urban commercial properties. His leadership in the creation of innovative strategies for financing of redevelopment projects propelled the City into a major redevelopment phase that lasted throughout the 1980s. Roberts-Roberts & Associates (RR&A) was founded by Michael Roberts and his brother Steven in 1974. RR&A is a minority-owned business consulting and construction management firm headquartered in St. Louis, MO. Michael V. Roberts, J.D. is more than just a successful business man that many individuals can learn from. In his newest book titled, "Action Has No Season", he provides a wealth of vital information that will leave you in awe. In addition, Roberts shares with readers his success story and offers his wisdom and advice as to how you too can gain wealth and authority. Some insights in his book include: shaping your visions, creating your destiny, mastering your emotions, breaking barriers, leadership and much, much more.

As a growing business woman, my words can not express how informative this book was to me. I encourage ALL Americans who have the desire to live the American Dream, but have little or no direction, to learn how it can be done through reading, "Action Has No Season." I consider the Roberts brothers as first-class business men whom St. Louis is certainly proud to have as leaders in our community. They have turned our city into one that we all can be proud of for many, many years to come. I do, however, feel the need for many more of us, especially African Americans, to seek for our calling in life. By doing so, it brings about much joy and plenty of happiness. Thanks, Mr. Roberts, for the eye-opening experience and I wish you much more continued success.

This book is very strong in stressing the point that you can plan, think, talk all you want, but nothing happens until you take positive, consistent action! Becoming an Actionaire is a great concept - and the book really drives home that point. This is a great book for those who may feel that they are "stuck", and are looking for some direction. He does not pull any punches - and this is not a "feel good about yourself" book - this is a get of your butt and make something happen book.

Michael Roberts is a savvy businessman that has taken risks and actions when no one else thought it would be possible for him to achieve. Roberts leads a multi-million dollar, multi-dimensional conglomerate corporation that exists because he stepped out on faith. He is an ACTIONAIRE - someone that establishes a vision, builds relationships to accomplish tasks, seeks opportunities to serve the community while acting on all reasonable proposals that come his way.

ACTION HAS NO SEASON offers tools and strategies, which will help you gain wealth and authority. Some of the strategies detailed are: the difference between power and authority; being rich and wealthy; and being a leader and following. You should understand your motivation for change and be open to taking the steps to master that change by using any means necessary. Clear examples from Roberts career provide inspiration and insight on the actionaire concept.

Roberts does an excellent job at sharing his experiences in business. The concept of the actionaire works to propel the movement of black entrepreneurship and empowerment. This book is a must read for everybody that wants to create wealth for their family and provide authority to their community. Michael Roberts is to the African American community as Bill Gates is to the computer Industry - everyone should read, understand, and act now! A true actionaire does not wait for someone else to start the movement they make the movement happen.
