I really like this shampoo. It isn't in the EWG cosmetic database, but all of the individual ingredients are, and it looks like a pretty safe product. It is the only natural shampoo I have tried yet that lathers well. It lathers just as well as your typical chemical ridden shampoos. I tried the one for curly hair (I don't have curly hair, was just trying it out), and the one for volumizing. The one for curly hair was okay, but isn't great for daily use for me. That one left my hair looking a little greasy. The volumizing one is pretty good and has a nice mint smell, but volumizing shampoos always leave my hair a bit static-y. I didn't try the volumizing conditioner, maybe that would help. The lemongrass shampoo however works really well for my hair - thin, flat, straight, tends a little bit towards oily. I generally don't use conditioner, but sometime do, and my hair always looks and feels clean after using this shampoo. It also smells really nice. I like the smell almost as much as the Aveda products that I used before I learned about the EWG, and I would say that it works just as well. It is a little pricey, but no worse than Aveda products were, and I would be more comfortable if the product itself were in the EWG, but I still highly recommend it.

Ever since adulthood I have had wavy, frizzy hair and some what fine hair and with good reason. I have damaged it with colors and even a perm or two and have greatly paid for it. I also don't have the thickest hair in the world, so that's another high maintenance feature my follicles make me endure. To correct these misgivings I have set out and purchased every kind of shampoo on the market. From purely chemical free, completely organic-made out of hippies formulas, to ridiculously over priced salon solutions that promise miracles, to economy sized, chemical filled bottles from Costco and yet at the end of each bottle, I was always left with the same frizzy results, until finally I stumbled on Acure. I finally found the most gratifying shampoo on the market! Dare I say it in text format, that I am finally free of frizz! I can confidently use this amazing product and feel assured that I won't look like a dried frizzy mess anymore! Not only that, but my teenage hair thickness has been making a slow and steady come back! This is an affordable argon oil product that actually made me forget that I on once existed as a frizz ball with legs!

Out of all the natural shampoo's I've tried, Acure Organics is the best of the best. Most natural shampoo's do NOT lather very well. They seem to feel like I'm washing my hair in gel. Sure they have all natural ingredients, but I don't feel like my hair is CLEAN after washing with them. Acure shampoo's lather AND have natural ingredients!

The Moroccan OIl and Argan Stem Cell Shampoo is absolutely AMAZING. I have straight, medium, and (more) oily hair. I have to be careful what I use because the next morning when I wake up (depending on the product) - sometimes my hair would look like I never washed it at all.

It will look weighed down and absolutely gross. With this shampoo- I can wash AND condition (with Acure Lemongrass Conditioner) and still wake up the next morning with my hair still smelling like I just stepped out of the shower!

I let my mom try some because she was always complaining that her hair was limp and lifeless. She wanted it to look more healthy and vibrant. Just the small amount I gave her (enough for about 3-4 washes) she said her hair had took a 180* turn. She said it looked healthier, shinier, and it lasted all day.

Argan oil is a marvelous protectant and treatment. (It's awesome for the body too.) I love that Acure has added this ingredient in just about every product they make.

The benefits:

*It hydrates in a natural way (hence why it doesn't make my hair look oily the next day).

*It efficiently stops the roughness, dryness, and breaking of hair and hair cuticles.

*Helps the growth of hair.

*It forces itself through the hair shaft and pores to heal and protect the hair, while enhancing the elasticity.

I have never, ever left a review before. I have always wondered how there can be so many reviews on so many internet sites. I have finally been moved enough to stop my life for 5 minutes. I am strict Primal/Paleo. I won't eat it if it is not organic or grass-fed. What I put on my body has to be edible in my mind as well since your skin, the biggest organ you have, absorbs everything in about 30 seconds.

I have been making my own beauty products for at least a year. EVERYTHING. I have had a lot of success with it, except for my hair. You see, I truly believe skin, hair, health and well-being starts with food. It all starts with food. Period. That being said, the "no-poo" method of using baking soda as shampoo and apple cider vinegar for conditioner worked, but left my normally very coarse, dry and frizzy hair just as coarse, dry and frizzy as before. I just dealt with it. I would dry my hair, it would be a frizzy mess, then use a flat iron to tame it.

I finally broke down and tried this since I would eat any of the ingredients on the list. (Well, not really, but you get my drift.) I dried my hair with the hair dryer simply running my fingers through it. And do you know what I have left? Absolutely perfect hair! I have never even come out with hair like this from a salon. My hair shines like crazy and bounces like I am a movie star. Not one frizzy spot, just beautiful wavy, curly bounce. I used to hate to flat iron my hair to tame the frizz as I always wanted smooth and bouncy curls. I would buy this product over and over and over again. I am leaving the same review for the conditioner.

Simply amazing. Enough said.
