I ordered an oem battery charger for my HP laptop. It arrived within a week & was exactly what I ordered & it only cost ~ $25 opposed to the exact same charger on HPs site, which cost about $75. I was nervous ordering it because I didn't think I'd get the OEM for that price, but it looks & works the same.

Seller shipped item quickly. However, potential purchasers should note that this is NOT an HP 463958-001, 65watt 18.5V HP power supply as mentioned in the technical details (at least, that is not what was shipped to me). Rather, they shipped a genuine HP 90watt 19V (KG298AA#ABA, 489210-003, genuine HP brand). When I looked at the online HP compatibility chart, the KG298AA#ABA is not shown as being compatible for the G60 series HP laptop (even the person in HP customer service that I spoke to said that the KG298AA#ABA was not compatible with the G60 series). However, on the outside of the HP box for the power supply, it specifically states that this unit IS compatible with the G60 series. Works fine. Seller was patient with my questions after purchase (although they never answered why they didn't ship the 463958-001 even though that is what they advertise). Cable length is normal (approx 5.5 ft on the AC side and approx 6 ft on the DC side).

I ordered for a 18.5V 65W power adapter, but I received a 19V 90W adapter.

Called up customer service, and had a prompt reply. The support person mentioned that the adapter sent to me is the one recommended by HP. They offered to replace my Laptop batteries, if the adapter causes it to overheat or die.
That was encouraging!

This product does not work for the DV 4 as stated in the product description. In addition, as has been mentioned in previous reviews, the charger is very short. I have requested a refund and will update how that process goes. UPDATE; Seller is sending me a complete refund and has told me to dispose of the charger. They have been great on the return. The product I gave one star, but the customer service(seller; power_adapter_world) deserves a five. *****

Was originally skeptical about the cheap price, but it came exactly as pictured. It is from HP, and is smaller than my stock power supply for my hp pavilion dv4-1551dx. It also comes with a few adapters in case it doesn't fit (which aren't needed if your model number is listed in supported models) and a nice velcro tie that holds the cord together. My only concern is that its shorter than my other cord (its only about 6-8 feet)but it still gets the job done.

Simply put, this product was complete garbage. It didn't work.... and it made me extremely irate. If you don't want to look like an idiot like I did, never purchase from this seller again.

The electrical connectors on this product ripped from the product after less than one week. Cheap purchases from eBay held up far longer than this product. Terrible purchase.

I ordered this product thinking that it was a perfect deal! The description clearly states that it is compatible with pavillion dv6. I received the shipment on time but when I plugged in my laptop it did not work. I was scared that it was not the charger that was broken so i decided to take my lasptop to the geek squad. They plugged it in with a charger of their own and my laptop turned on. I decided to just go ahead and buy the expensive charger at best buy because this one was a piece of crap. Hope it works for you.

Excellent shipping. My computer was drying when trying to order this so wasn't sure if it would go through. Works great haven't had any problems at all. Don't know about the short cord. I always get a longer cord when first buying my computer so I used my old cord. Buy from this company and you will be happy with what you get.

The AC adapter works ok for HP DV7 Laptop. It charges the computer as the AC adapter that came originally with my computer.
