There isn't too much romance in replacement power supplies . . . it looks OEM, the power pin fits the laptop, the cords are long enough and it doesn't overheat. It's been in near continuous use for about a month.

Because this is designed to replace a variety of Toshiba 'bricks' supplying the same voltage/current spec, the number on it did not match exactly the unit it was replacing. Just as a precaution (I'm always a little concerned with unfamiliar OEM suppliers), I metered it out as soon as I received it to confirm voltage -- it was right on the money.

I wouldn't hesitate to deal with this vendor/mfgr. in the future

I ordered a power supply for my laptop from them. The price was half of what most places wanted. I recieved it two days after I ordered it. Product was exactly what I ordered shipped with care. I would definately order from them again. Easy Purchase.

While I had misgivings about buying an off-brand laptop charger, I couldn't pass up the price. The item arrived quickly, and seemed to work fine at first. Within 3 months, I started having problems:

1)It started running hot, which I noticed first because the label on the brick came off because the heat melted the adhesive. I just thought it was cheap adhesive and didn't think much of it.

2)The part of the cord that covers the wires inside it separated in 2 places (on either side of the power brick), leaving the wires inside exposed. Because I use this at home, not traveling, and don't move it around much, I thought I could just be careful, and it wouldn't matter.

3)As of today, the power is now cutting out intermittently, and I'm worried it will do damage to my laptop. I have it plugged into a surge-protected power supply, and like I said, I'm not moving this around, so I don't know why this is happening.

I sent an email message to the seller today, describing these problems, and hopefully they will offer and exchange/refund. But next time I'll go with the Toshiba charger and pay the extra money.
