ADC Adtemp IV is a good looking and functional thermometer with a large display. Comes with a transparent box to safely store the thermometer. It is easy to use. Easy to change from F' to C' or vice versa. Preferred this one compared to others because this one had a touch of color compared to others which were bland white - that was until I saw the product photographs on ADC website. But, now I feel that even this one is very bland. Don't understand why ADC Adtemp V is cheaper compared to this one, even though it is faster. Maybe it is because of the size of the display.

This is the worst thermometer I have ever purchased. It is consistent though - consistently wrong! It always places my temperature between 96.5 and 97.5 degrees. I'm dead! I bought a replacement battery for my old thermometer and it reads my temperature perfectly. So, it's not how I'm using it, it's this particular thermometer.

I complained to Amazon and they were nice enough to send me a replacement. However, the replacement is exactly the same. Thus, I didn't get a defective model, the thermometer is just really, REALLY bad.
