I searched high and low for a hard-sided range case that could hold at least two guns. The unit has 3 lower sections; two are foam-filled to hold a gun. One side has cut-outs for 2 speedloaders; the other can hold 4 magazines. The center section is empty - this is where I store my ear muffs and shooting glasses. The upper section folds open and contains 2 small and one medium storage area each - just large enough to hold some tools and parts. They're not really large enough to hold boxed ammo or even my 1911 spring kit. I use them to hold snap caps, spare batteries and small parts.

As to my overall impressions of the product - I wish it were slightly larger. It can hold two guns, but just barely. My 6" S&W M28 just squeezes in, and I mean just. My 5" SA Loaded .45ACP fits with no problem.

There are two other issues - the foam inside gave off a terrific odor of chemicals for a long time. The other thing that would help is a carrying strap or provision for one.

Would I buy again? The price was right but I don't think so - I have to carry another bag to hold ammo and tools; or I have to use the other bag to hold the ear muffs and eyeglasses.

excellent way to secure and transport handguns. has room for two pistols. one auto with 2 magazines on one side and one revolver with two speed loaders. a good sized center compartment between the two. the sides of the lid hold plenty of ammo with adjustable dividers to create the size compartments you need. well worth the price.

The case is well built and solidly constructed. Plenty of room for 2 full size pistols and lots of space for ancillary items such as safety gear and ammo for a long days shooting.

Room for all kinds of accessories with this one. I keep two sets of hearing protectors in the center compartment, two sets of shooting glasses in the lid along with mag loader, bore laser, tools etc. It would hold boxes of ammo as well, but you don't do that where I live. Initially it arrived setup for one revolver and one semi auto, but a quick flip of the pre-cut foam showed it to be reversible for handgun type. Keys are flimsy metal, I actually put a little bend in both of them getting used to the locks, which are more for technical compliance than any security. Being flimsy it was also easy to flatten them again, so there you go. They do lock however, and it would require a hand tool to pop this box. The box itself is light aluminum, reinforced corners, very nice looking and very handy way of getting a couple pistols to the range and home.

very good design and construction. The foam provides more than adequate protection as does the aluminum case. If you gun is longer than the approximate 9 inches that it says is the max you can cut the foam to accept a total length of around 10.5 to 11 inches as I did for my Ruger GP100 with a 9" barrel. Plenty of storage compartments that can be rearranged in a variety of shapes to accommodate 95% of your items.

This is not only a handy range box, it's a great travel case for my guns and shooting supplies - I travel regularly, and the airlines haven't been able to destroy it (yet). I'm able to fit my .38 Airweight, .357 CIA and Taurus Judge all three in here (the latter two in the dedicated padded slots and the former resting in the middle section in my pocket holster). Plus boresnakes, Shooter's Choice products and a couple of boxes of ammo for each gun, and my folding ears. The way it opens out, it's very handy at the range; I get a lot of envious looks. It sorta conveys seriousness of purpose, and it serves its purpose very well.

I've been looking for a practicle range case for a while.
I ordered the ADG two pistol case and it arrived 5 days sooner than expected. I couldn't be happier with it. It holds two pistols, extra magazines, cleaning kit, eye and ear protection and a ton of ammo.
I can focus more on training at the range than set up because everything I need is readily accessible.
the locks are better than expected as well.
I would (and have) recomended this case to anyone interested in spending more time at the range.

Im a traveling contractor and I use this box as a tool box. I like using this so much that I actually just bought another one so I can expand my tool collection.

The concept of this case is really nice, but the craftsmanship and materials reveal why it's a more affordable carrier. I've seen better hinges and latches on a child's lunchbox, but when all four are closed it stays shut. Just don't drop it. Mine arrived with a warped side wall that must have happened during shipping. I easily bent it back into shape by hand. The walls are thin and actually made of balsa wood with just a slight "aluminum" veneer. Inside, the walls are covered by a paper-thin pad that is glued on by an adhesive that doesn't do it's job very well. I opened mine the first day to find the pad peeling away along all the edges. The foam pad that secures the weapons is where this case finally makes par. The foam is dense, versatile, and holds on tight. All in all, this case works as a casual carrier to and from the range, but I would never use it on flights or in any situation where it might get the slightest abuse. Also, I would never consider it a safe place to store my weapons or ammo at home. The locking latches are just cosmetic.

Great range box. It carries my ammo, two 1911's(Springfield & Colt), a few targets with some cleaning supplies. Excellent built box, with very good latches that can be locked. It comes with keys. I just put it in the back of the Jeep and go. No worries about the guns being skinned up with this box. It takes care of everything. Recommended ! Thanks Amazon.
