Adoption Time Bomb is a quick read packed with valuable insight, comfort and hope for those who have suffered, or know someone who has suffered, with the pain of loss endured from an adopted child with severe behavior disorders. I was touched by the author's sensitivity and ability to put these truths into Novel form. May there be peace in your storm.

Common folks know so little about Reactive Attachment Disorder, and other severe personality and behavioral disorders. This book by Mark Taylor sheds light on the pain and despair felt by parents of a child with these types of disorders. And the encouragement that they are not the only ones with a child like this, gives other parents some hope that there is support out there. Not only do we feel the heartwrenching anguish of his own experience, but he presents the real hope that exists to bring one through such an experience. If you know someone who has a child with these disorders, please share this book with them, to give them hope.

This book is an easy to read, unfathomable eye-opener. There's so many different lives and experiences in the world that people go through with their family or with themselves that the rest of us have no idea about, or what they are truly going through can happen or even exist. I commend this author for honesty and opening this heartwrenching experience to us all. My heart and prayers go out to every family who has a child with a behavor disorder. May God give you the strength and wisdom to deal with this with Him.

Adoption Time Bomb is a book that is so painfully honest that I could not put it down. The issues discussed in this book are not often talked about in most circles. In the past few weeks I have encountered three seperate situations eerily similar to the story in this book. One of the worst places to be is in a place of hurt or disappointment that you think you are the ONLY ONE who is dealing with your type of hurts. This book uncovers that lie! There are not only others who have dealt with it, but they have (by the grace of God) overcome these heart-wrenching hurts. Mark Tyler does an amazing job of honestly disclosing the pain, but he also explains the HOPE that is available.
