Beware - the product description is incomplete. This is an analog-only tuner. Broadcast television ceased analog programming in 2009 in favor of digital programming. Therefore this tuner is incapable of receiving digital broadcast programming. This is obsolete technology.

I ordered this thinking that I could use it on windows Media Center. This was not the case as right on the box it said that it was designed for Windows XP. I tried to install the drivers anyways hoping that it would work but it was a big waste of time. The price might look good and that's the reason why I bought this without reading the reviews but this this is useless, also it was not represented well because I couldn't find any place where the seller said that it was intended for XP. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

All I wanted this for was to be able to install DTV tuners on my old XP laptop. For some reason you need an analog tuner in XP media center before you can install digital tuners. Well, this wouldn't install correctly and isn't recognized by XP media center. The support by ADS tech is a joke. I knew this was old technology when I ordered it, but didn't think it would be so old as to not be supported by XP. So I still can't view tv from my HDhomerun network tuners because XP still doesn't have an analog tuner that works. I'd avoid this since it is so old. Glad I paid so little becuase it is junk.
