This is not an instructional DVD, it shows very very basic hand movments and a few intermediate sequences. However, they just show it, maybe repeat it a few times but no real instruction. The students are very talented, however the camera person and production people are not! You could seriously make a video of your own better than this one. In fact I just might! The sound is horrible, they play parana e over and over again, the song speed is benguela and they are playing sao bento grande...The cover says instructional, learn flips and all these other moves...if you can learn just by watching, go for it, if you are like most people and need real instruction on technique dont bother. Even the movements are blurry, its like they put an effect on the final product to help make them look faster, it makes them look like crap, also the little beat-down sequence at the end was plain stupid, throwing kicks and movements at the camera (camera person very bad) The whole DVD had maybe 2 good games in the ending roda (that lasted about 30 seconds of the entire 40 minute vid). Buy this DVD if you want to see what not to do, or if you want to make yourself feel better about your multimedia skills, a must have for flim students!
