This makes me want to play my acoustic again. This tiny amp sounds amazing. As a guitarist/vocalist, this is all I need to perform a full show. I was looking for portable amps for a while and got really into buying a crunchy little amplifier that would sound bad but at least it's easy to move around. Then I met this item which sounds better than any of my other amps and it's lighter too.

The sound is very, very clean. It just sounds like my guitar but louder. That's exactly what I want. Thanks AER!

FX: I use the reverb exclusively. Not interested in the chorus or the delay. I'd rather use a pedal for that stuff.

I'll keep it brief. If you're an acoustic player that needs an amp, AER's are extremely good. I've never had a better amp. The sound is gorgeous. And, if you have an archtop, you can play it through the AER and get incredibly good sound. I STRONGLY recommend AER amps for acoustic players.

I love the beautiful, clean sound that comes through this amp on my McPherson 4.5 XP and Gibson J-185. It sounds good too with my Eastman Ar-803 archtop electric hollow body. It is powerful and amazingly light weight.

If you play acoustic music and care about your sound. This is the amp for you. It is worth every penny that it costs. The cost is quickly forgotten and the enjoyment of using this great little amp goes on for years.

After looking at everything offered as small, easily portable and high-end acoustic guitar amp, I decided on this one, though it is considerably more expensive than some of it's competition. Right out of the box it blows away every amp I have every used. It delivers consistent, clean, authentic reproduction of the acoustic sound and with electric effects just as subtle or as pronounced as you may prefer. This tiny one-cubic-foot device can make the guitar louder than I will ever want it to be and it has its own effects built in. I use external effects, but the built in reverb in this amp is so good I will have to use it. I'm thinking two of these amps would make for an amazing stereo performance. Mine was shipped from Amazon (purchased through Shoreline Music) and I am a happy camper. Unpacking the box, I was admittedly shocked at how small the amp is but all my doubts and my reservations about spending this much money evaporated the minute I started playing my Taylor through it. The reviewer who gave a one-star rating because of distortion had to have a defective amp.
