I'm a cosplayer and the person I was cosplaying had a shirt shaped exactly like this one. I wasn't sure how I was going to make and/or alter a different shirt, so I was VERY happy when I saw this one for sale! It looks very small when you get it, but it's extremely form-fitting and feels good when you wear it!

I should have known when the positive reviews I read indicated that all of the happy owners of this item were buying it as part of a costume that it might not be exactly what I was looking for. I was thinking more in terms of the "athletic" and "dri-fit technology" applications when I bought it. I was thinking yoga or exercise class. When I tried this on I spent a goodly amount of time taking it off and turning it around, sure it was backwards every which way. There were no tags or printing to help me figure it out. It didn't really matter because it was awful on me every possible way. It choked me around the neck no matter which way I put it. The amount of flesh it showed around my shoulders and underarms caused problems for me. It was almost like a tube top attached to a tight little neck dickie, if you can imagine. Honestly, for what I paid for it, I am not going to go to the trouble to send it back. I think it might make a good winter walking outfit for my lap doggie on cold days! I will post photos when I get them!

I love this top. Very comfortable and flattering. Not made well. Label comes off with first wash and the hem is coming apart. I would still buy at this price.

I had bought one of these for a cosplay I was making (the character wears a turtleneck with a coat over it but I live in Texas and wearing a turtleneck is suicide). It worked perfectly.

If anyone wants to use this for a crossplay buy at least a size or two bigger. I'm a very small person (I have to alter every pattern I buy because of it) and I bought a large so I could use it for the male character I needed it for. This shirt will appear very small (I got a large and when it came in the mail I kinda panicked cause it looked so tiny for the size it was supposed to be). Do not be frightened, it's fine; just put it on and stretch it out.

While I bought this shirt with cosplay in mind, it was so cute that I decided to get another one for just working out. For the price this shirt is absolutely worth it!
