5.0 out of 5 stars Very Good Product, But... December 20, 2012

This is a Very good product and works well to store and carry passwords you can't remember but I prefer the extra security of the paid version PassPal+ for $0.99 it is certainly worth the cost. The free version is useful to get a look at the app and try it out.

Think twice about downloading this app. It uses an ad network (AdMob) which is capable of LEAKING your information. And we're talking your PASSWORDS here!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to Use Password App October 10, 2012
Verified Purchase
I have used a little shareware program called PassKeeper since 2000. But as I have begun to access my data and information on any device like my iPad and smartphone from anywhere it became obvious that I needed a replacement for PassKeeper. PassPal does the trick. Now I can keep all my credit card info and other confidential but important data secure on my smartphone. Easy to use. Secure.

I'm 65 and just into computing , this app has saved me so many head storms. Now I don't spend half my day reentering pass code after code to get where I want to be. I would highly recommend to every one

Just don't forget the password. Down side is that you can type in the URL. but you can't click on it to bring you to the website.

2.0 out of 5 stars Uninstalled it. July 17, 2013

Put a little feature to import Roboform passwords and I'm down with it! Having to re-enter 400 passwords is a little time consuming.

4.0 out of 5 stars Password Challenged May 30, 2013
Verified Purchase
It seems you need a password for everything you do today. PW's for email, banking, health insurance, auto/car insurance, subscribed online news sources, travel, medical/prescriptions, etc, etc, etc. Many of these PW's require upper/lower case characters, a minimum number of characters, numbers and/or symbols as well as oftentimes not accepting the user name you like to use and would be likely to remember. Being a bit password challenged, I found it quite frustrating to keep track of the many variations of PW's necessary to access internet sites and accounts. It was particularly upsetting when failed attempts at finding the right PW resulted in being locked out of particular accounts. This little app has made it very convenient to store my PW's. It's simple to use and uncomplicated. Although, it requires a PW to access it (obviously. a necessary evil) and if I ever forget that one, I'm SOL.

I don't have the paid version. But I just downloaded the free version. It is unencrypted, as stated in all of the information about it. That makes this useless. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple & To The Point
PassPal isn't elaborate, fancy or uber-secure (unless you pay for the upgrade), but it's easy to understand, edit and view. Very helpful for the average user.
