I love this little tablet! I think this is a perfect option for someone who is looking for a decent tablet at a much lower cost. I was able to set up my wireless network in seconds and start downloading apps. Pages load quickly and the tablet is very responsive. My only issue so far is with the Netflix app - it works, but there's a distorted green bar at the top of the video it streams. (It looks like it has something to do with the app, not the tablet - because the tablet plays other videos (youtube, avi) just fine.) Overall I think this tablet is great purchase.

I purchased three of these last week for my children ages 3-9. Mainly I wanted cheap games, educational apps and movies with an added bonus of a camera for their fun. I dont have an ipad or any other tablet and really wanted something inexpensive but lasting for our kids to use instead of my phone or laptop.

Everything works as needed, however I could not get Netflix 2.0 to work. The member sign in button never worked. Some forums mentioned using Netflix 1.8 and I contacted Netflix who said AGPTek would have to offer a differnt app. Others have mentioned Netflix works for them, but it didnt for me on any of the three.

Otherwise all games were great and kids loved the tablets. Drag and drop was a bit different from what they are used to on our phones, but I wasnt sure if this was normal for a tablet.

I am actually returning these as I am happy with the company and buying a different model from AGPTek (through amazon) with 1G ddr3 and built in 8G of storage capacity for only a few dollars more. I did some comparing with other comany websites to help determine quality from customer reviews and the best prices.

Finding a protective case was challenging, however I found for this specific tablet the "Poetic Slimbook Case for the Coby Kyros MID7042 7-Inch Tablet Black" is an almost perfect fit even for the screen that is off center. It sells right now for under 20.

Instead of a Leappad or Innotab for my children I decided on this tablet and would buy again. I am considering their 10 inch tab for myself.
UPDATE 15 NOV 2012:
For those experiencing the Netflix issues with the member sign in buttons not responding, it will work. Install the netflix app like normal and open the app. Enter your existing account user name and password into the "free month" sign up box. Use the enter key from your on screen keyboard to submit your log in info. Once you sign in Netflix should work as needed. I didnt have any cache issues or any browser issues. My only issue was I could never log in as the log in button or continue buttons never responded. Using the on screen keyboard enter key solved my issue. Now my kids can use the netflix app by hitting the quick launch button from their tablet home screen and it loads our account automatically. YAY!!!

Happy mom of three.

If your looking for something to surf the Internet with, watch flash videos from websites, look at pictures, and check your email this tablet is for you..don't expect it to be an iPad but for the price of this tablet it is well worth it. Feels pretty solid, no glitches so far, strong wifi connection, there are a few imperfections but hey for the price this is worth it..unless you plan to spend 500 on an iPad but this tablet, I have searched tablets for under $100 and this one had the best ratings

Bought one for the kids. It does have google play store and the google framework installed which many of these cheap tablets don't. Functionality all works, no major problems.

Speed is about par with the price, it's a little sluggish like a slow computer. You click on the apps button and it feels like it takes about 1/2 second before it's completely opened. The speed is not unbearable and for the kids, it's great.

The screen is multi-touch capacitive as described, however the resolution is very low compared even to 2 year old tablets. Everything is still completely visible and distinguishable, kindle books look good, but graphic games are noticeably pix-elated. The kids don't mind, this is a huge step up from the leapster graphics they are used to, and I don't mind because I don't play graphic type games.

Battery has something to be desired. This would be my only legitimate complaint about the device (considering the price). The battery will go from 100% to 0% in a 12-15 hour period of sitting at rest with just email opened. I would get another one for myself if the battery were a little better. I have a 2 year old viewsonic tablet that will go for days at rest and I can use it all day long for email, meeting notes, surfing the internet, but this tablet will not last a full day at work without a mid-day charge.

summary: This is a great tablet for low intensity tasks, browsing, reading, email, light graphics games. I plan to buy another one for my oldest kid to take to school for taking notes and watching vodcasts from the teachers. Remember when buying this, it's a cheap tablet, don't expect it to be a galaxy tablet (4x the price), however I can buy 4 of these for the price of one galaxy.

Edit 2/13/13: I've since bought 2 more of these for the 3 & 5 year olds. Outside of the above mentioned issues, we've had zero problems, first one is 6-8 months old, the second 2 are 2-3 months old. I put them in a drop proof case with velcro on the back before the kids ever get them. My kids are very gentle with the tablets, I expect if they weren't the tablets would be broken by now. I came back to this product today to purchase a backup tablet for when one of the 3 breaks. I still recommend this product for kids as long as your kids are gentle with them.

This tablet was a pleasant surprise, reading the specs I wasn't expecting much, but figure for $80, I shouldn't, but boy was I wrong, downloaded a few apps from google play and havent put it down since, if your on the fence on this, dont be, its a great deal, not a nexus 7 or ipad mind you, but good enough.

For $77.00 this tablet cannot be beat! I also own a Samsung Galaxy Tab. This one works perfectly for everything I do.
Do not hesitate to buy this tab.

UPDATE 10 days later:

still LOVE this tablet. the hdmi works perfect as does the rest of the tablet. battery is now lasting a full 6 hrs in use. my friend with the google nexus 7 tab is sick, he has no hdmi, no card slot and an older version of android on a new tab.

I don't know who is writing these reviews or if it's just my bad luck. Maybe since there were only a few left in the warehouse, or so they stated, they got crushed under the pile. I ordered my first one since the reviews were so great, however, returned it the next day because it had to be reset each and EVERY time I turned it on. Thought, well maybe just a fluke, and ordered a replacement. All was well for a day and then it FRIED! Could be a great little tablet as touch response was great, it was fast, but just cheap, I guess. Maybe it's true, you get what you pay for....will not buy another or reccommend to anyone...spent my hard earned money on gas running back and forth to UPS!

Very much enjoy this tablet. The browser is very fast, and has ran every app I've downoaded. The resolution is very crisp and netflixs looks good. The battery holds well after letting it completely drain and charge. Even when the battery drains down it charges in about 2 hours. Transfering music and pics to the tablet is easy as click and drag, after you connect it to your computer.

The only complaint I have is the keyboard isn't as responsive as I'd like, the the spell check is subpar.

I bought 3 of these for a friend, he has not complained yet. Build quality seems really good for the short time i spent with it. Very responsive touch screen, compatible with Google play and front facing camera. Amazing value for the price, i'm still shocked, i really was expecting a cheaply made Tablet but i'm really surprised. For the price i don't think you can get much better than this. I'm really tempted on buying one myself.

I loved absolutely everything about this device except a couple of small things like the charging port, it had the port for a (ps3 controller usb device), but it only links data which was disappointing. Other than that it was an overall plus. Internet connection is pretty slow, and the bottom of the device made some cheapy cracky noises until i tightened the screwes and added glue. But trust me, it is well worth every penny. Because aside from the tiny flaws, youll find this perfect for reading and android gaming. I am a graphic design student who likes to draw, and the sketch apps dont work as well as id hoped, but they work enough to get me where i want to be. so dont you dare spend your extra 500+ bucks on a stupid oversized paper weight like an ipad, and get you one of these. By the way, dont even buy a Kindle Fire, I have friends with Kindle Fires and they are jealous of the things I can do with this that they cannot. And I have bought Idolian brand products and both broke within a few weeks. This thing is pretty durable so far. Ive had it for months.
