Works perfectly in my DELL LATITUDE E6400. I saved 100 USD from the original battery from DELL. More than 5 hours of work at airports and in the plane! That was my firt comment during the first week.

Then after one and a half months, the computer crashed and shows me a message that the battery can't be recognized by the system, then no able to charging. Despite all my efforts I can't make the battery recognizable.

This laptop battery replacement is a joke. I used it 20 days and then it woudn't even take a charge. Trying to get a refund now.

Works great on my Dell E6500, get about 4.5 hours in powersave mode. Computer treats it just like the original.

I had purchased this for my Dell Latitude E6400.

After arriving late by 7-days, it turns out that this battery is a piece of crap. The charge runs out after about 2-hours. The worst part is that it falsely indicates 60% remaining charge just before Windows is forced to shutdown.

It is a total waste of money and time, better to spend $100 more and get the original battery from DELL. I have already ordered the original since I am expecting this junk to be completely useless after few more days.

PS: It doesn't deserve even 1-star, amazon should introduce 0-star for such crappy products.

Good price for the 9-cell battery, considering some of the more expensive options included used OEM batteries, or 6-cell OEM batteries that cost almost 3 times as much. Laptop recognized it and acts as if it is OEM.

It sounds like some after-market batteries are having trouble being recognized as compatible by the machine. I can tell you this one has not been any problem on that front. The disappointing part is that, while it may have had a few days of delivering 4+ hours of life, within a week or two I am down to under 2 hours, with the battery meter falling from about 25% to 7% in one big drop. EDIT: 4 months later, I am down to less than one hour and the indicator in the system tray is telling me I should replace my battery.

The battery was recognized after a reboot and has been performing well so far. Still have yet to determine full run time in the E6500, but have used it for over 2 hours with plenty left. The original battery was only good for a max of 1 1/2 hours.

I purchased this for my Dell Precision M4400. As indicated in the dimensions, it does stick out beyond the back of the laptop but this has NOT created any problems. In fact, my docking station has an adjustable stop to accommodate the larger battery.

The battery will last between 1.5 and 2 hours on a full charge with my screen at maximum brightness. I gave this item 4 stars because I am not sure it would last on a cross-country airplane ride for 3+ hours although it may last longer with a lower screen brightness level.

The item arrived more quickly than expected and the transaction with the seller was simple and easy. I recommend this battery to anyone who wants performance at a very reasonable price.

Product was shipped quickly, received in order, and the price was right. Can't ask for much more.
