5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Bath Salt!
The salt in Ahava products comes from the Dead Sea in Israel. When I was sitting on the Dead Sea (you can't sink, because the weight of the salt makes you pop up) I noticed an incredible difference in the silky feeling of my skin. I've been using this product for many years, and the purifying, soothing effect of the Dead Sea salt is incredible.

FYI - when I was there, I spoke with other people who were also in the water with me. Most of them were there due to having severe and horrible skin conditions, so their doctors prescribed them to go there to heal. They all had the most dramatic improvements from skin diseases that nothing in the USA or their European countries could cure. But The salt in the Dead Sea did! it was amazing to see!

If you're going to buy this product, get the largest size possible, rather than a smaller size.

1. The larger size will obviously last longer.
2. The smaller size is very expensive for the price, so it's really worth it to get the bigger size.

I think they should make gallons of it! This is the Best sea salt on earth for skin. It doesn't dry your skin out, it smoothes it, purifies it, and makes it feel like silk - on top of having a very relaxing bath!

It seems I have tried about everything on earth to ease my arthritic
pains. I broke my hip in '99 and get many spasms. I have found that
AHAVA is really the best thing. It is rather pricey. I get around that
by keeping on hand the sturdy old standby, Epsom Salts that are very
inexpensive. Also I dont use a whole cup of AHAVA for the bath as it
would be too expensive but when I do use it, I notice when I get out of
the tub, normally my hip would hurt but with AHAVA it doesnt. Also
the relaxation lasts quite a while and can put you into a blissful
sleep.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for psoriasis, September 12, 2009
This review is from: AHAVA Dead Sea Bath Salts 5.0 lbs (80 oz) (Misc.)
I have been using Ahava Bath Salts now for over a month and I have seen a huge improvement in my psoriasis. Because I am nursing, my dermatologist will not prescribe me any medications for my psoriasis so I turned to alternative therapies and Ahava Bath Salts have really kept my psoriasis under control and cleared up a lot of it. I highly recommend this product.

Good bath salt. Much cheaper than Bath & Body Works bath salt I used to buy. I also like that this bath salt doesn't have any additives or dyes.

I bought this b/c it is purported to contain minerals, and I just want as close as I can get to a natural mineral bath- gotta get minerals somehow since they are no longer provided by American "food". Could just be all salts though, who knows. No noticeable stress reduction or muscle relaxing as claimed as far as I can tell, other that what warm bath water alone would do. My skin was a bit softer though- whatever that chemical effect was from.

Ahava may make your skin soft, but it's not good for your conscience! Ahava is made from Palestinian natural resources and produced on Palestinian land. Ahava is profiting from the Occupation--it is Stolen Beauty! [...]

1.0 out of 5 stars Nothing special! Waste of Money., November 14, 2010
This review is from: AHAVA Dead Sea Bath Salts 5.0 lbs (80 oz) (Misc.)
I've used a number of AHAVA products and I don't think they are worth the packaging they're sent in. There really is nothing exceptional about Dead Sea minerals or mud, and its not worth the cost to human lives by buying AHAVA products, since they use Palestinian resources that are illegally appropriated, according to international law, and as recognized by the United Nations.
