5.0 out of 5 stars Expensive...but worth it
We first bought this in Israel and wish we would have brought home more! Your skin feels like you've have had a treatment in the Dead Sea! A little goes a long way to heal dry skin.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's okay
My skin is more dry than rough so I don't know if this was the best product for me to begin with. Also, I think the directions need to be a little more clear as to whether or not you put the product on dry or wet skin...

Don't have time to bathe in luxury? This great smelling liquid sea salt from the Dead Sea in Israel gives you plenty of benefits that you'll notice on your skin even just by using it in the shower.

I noticed an incredible difference in the silky feeling of my skin since I've been using Ahava's product for many years. The purifying, soothing effect of the Dead Sea salt is incredible.

When I was at the Dead Sea I spoke with other people who were also in the water with me. Most of them were there due to having severe and horrible skin conditions, so their doctors prescribed them to go there to heal. They all had the most dramatic improvements from skin diseases that nothing in the USA or their European countries could cure. But The salt in the Dead Sea did, it was amazing to see.

Now adding the convenience of all of the properties to this shower gel, you'll still be treating your skin to the best treatment, even if you're on the go.

Can't get enough of this stuff, it's excellent!

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Dead Sea Salt Alternative Rub, April 10, 2009

This review is from: AHAVA Pure Spa Dead Sea Liquid Salt 6.8 oz (Misc.)
I found this product interesting. It's like have a salt gel rub without any of the salt grit that you find other salt rubs. I use dead-sea salt products because I have four tough eczema patches on my body. Rubbing these types of products onto my skin in the shower helps relieve the itching and softens those rough calloused areas that I've been scratching at (even in my sleep) for years. It's only temporary, but it helps me get to sleep.

I think for the normal skin person, this is a great product that will leave your skin smooth. I definitely recommend it. If only it were cheaper...I would buy more. I have many Ahava products, and my favorite so far is this, and the mineral body wash. I don't care too much for the face lotions, and I am on the fence about the hand creams.

Even though it's not sold as a hair product, several times a week I put it on my hair after shampooing, leave it on a few minutes, rinse it out. Great for the scalp and adds volume to fine, thin hair.

This product is not cheap, but you should get it, if you want your skin be smooth. I live in Florida, so my skin struggles sun damage. It smells good and after applying is so smooth, that if you touch it, you feel like I have soap on me. You would slide. Awesome!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this stuff., July 2, 2008

I love this product. It feels so good and I really think it must have some detox effect because I feel amazing after using it. Only complaint is it's pretty expensive for something you go through pretty quickly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this stuff, March 20, 2011

I actually went to the Dead Sea (Israel) a few years ago and it was an unforgettable experience. Stunning setting. There is an Ahava plant (or used to be) at the Dead Sea site, and I bought as much as I could carry back on board with me for the return trip home. I still purchase the products often and this is one of my favorites. It's a very nice, calming, relaxing body wash with the slight scent of the salt from the Sea. It's a unique sensory experience, because I also feel like my skin is soft after I use it. To get the best results, it's nice to leave it on a few minutes so it soaks into your skin.

fab, Fab, FAB! Apply for 1-2 minutes before you shower. Easily rinses off, and leaves my skin feeling moisturized after full shower. Gives my skin a more glowing look - especially my heels, knees and elbows.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great buy, January 5, 2011

This is the closest you'll get to a dip in the dead sea. My skin is silky soft after a bath in this. It does not lather like soap nor does it have a "perfumey" smell and does a much better job than most if not all perfumed bath gels. The scent is very light and pleasant. I highly recommend this product. A little goes a long way.
