John Lauritsen a wonderful job exposing the quackery of the AIDS industry, & the profit hungry pharmacutical companies. I recommend this book to everyone. You'll definatly look at the "AIDS crisis" completely different after reading this.

John Lauritsen has easily written more on HIV, "AIDS", AZT, the "AIDS" dissent movement, and the gay health crisis than any other journalist alive. It is a pity then, that most people are unaware of his brilliant writings. In "The AIDS War", Lauritsen brings together a collection of previously published articles together with new material, and the result is a shocking and often frightening story of political and social ideology run amok. Lauritsen pulls no punches; his reporting embodies a cool detachment, a striking sense of logic and reason amidst a sea of hysteria, and an unflinching moral commitment. He reports what he sees -- NOT what people wish to hear. My prediction is this -- fifty years from now, long after the lessons of this tragic affair have been drawn, future generations will look back upon the writings of John Lauritsen as priceless historical documents, and harrowing evidence of the mass delusions and hallucinations of which even the most intelligent and thoughtful individuals are capable. The unproven concept that HIV causes AIDS is junk science at its best. The German courts have already concluded that there is no scientific evidence that HIV causes AIDS. Sooner or later the American courts will recognize the same thing.

There is NO evidence that AIDS is caused by non-infectious agents such as psycho-active drugs, over-medication with antibiotics, and AZT itself. There is however overwhelming evidence that HIV is sexually transmitted and transmitted through blood. (Just ask all the women who got HIV by sleeping with their husbands or boyfriends!) John Lauritsen should apologize for his theories that are completely wrong.

This book is so dated in even discussing AZT. AZT is not used that much to treat HIV. Other medications are used that have less side effects.

Finally, the question is who is profiteering? John Lauritsen is not sending the profits from this book to one of the many orphanages in Africa where children have been orphaned because of HIV! John has not given the profits from his books to the many people in South America waiting for HIV or to the 305 people on waiting lists in the U.S. to get free HIV treatment. He's out of touch and without a sense of responsibility. This book is just inaccurate and should be pulled from publication!

Why would you believe this so-called journalist who did not interview any infectious disease specialist nor any actual HIV researcher nor any social worker working in one of the hundreds of AIDS organizations around the U.S., nor one of the thousands of outreach workers.

He's oblivious to the real epidemic in the U.S. or the world. Shame on you Mr. Lauritsen!

Sadly "the AIDS WAR..." is nothing more than a collection of tired old worn out articles/pseudo 'studies' which are put forth in a dangerous effort to convince the reader that AIDS is not caused by the HIV virus, but rather by drugs.

This book, its author, and the associated theories have been thoroughly discredited over the years. Its real danger is that uninformed readers may actually believe what's put forth in this book, and make life style or behavior decisions based on what they read -- potentially placing those people at greater risk of both contracting HIV, and attempting to remain healthy and live longer if infected.

This book does a huge disservice to anyone who reads it.
