This review is from: AIM Cartridge Laser Rifle Bore Sighter For .30-06 270 .25-06 (Misc.)
I purchased this AIM cartridge laser rifle bore sighter from Norco USA here in Amazon. Once received I installed the batteries it came with. I screwed on the base and to my surprise, the laser did not turn on. I verified the batteries where on correctly but no luck. I gave it a little tap and the laser suddenly came on for 4 seconds then it turned off. As of now, I have not been able to turn it on with everything installed correctly. I sent an emal to Norco via Amazon yet have not received any response whatsoever. I would not recommend buying this item from Norco.

I purchased the AIM laser boresight cartridge in 30.06. that come with three button batteries. Loaded the batteries and no laser light. I double checked the way the batteries were installed and still no light. I purchased and replaced the batteries, still no laser light in the cartridge. Very disappointed being defective right out of the package. Seems I am not the only one this has happen to. JP in Charleston, SC

I bought this bore sighter right before hunting season thinking i could save some time by just zeroing it this way. When I loaded it into my weapon i noticed it was very difficult to chamber and eject, even chipped away some of the casing. When i had the laser on it was impossible to put the cross-air where the laser was. When i got the sight close enough to fire it was WAY WAY off! I ended up going back to the redneck bore sight of just taking the bolt out and looking down the barrel, i fired one round and was on paper at 100 yards. So either do it the old fashioned way or save up your pennies and buy a good bore sight because this one sucks!
