After recharging the battery, the gun didn't work at all.

Also, the rate of fire is very good although I did not get a reading on it.

I love this gun. For the money, I don't see it getting much better than this. I had it chrono'd at about 400 with .20's which is pretty solid. Also, the rate of fire is very good although I did not get a reading on it. If you want to get into airsoft, don't waste your money on lower grade guns, they just don't hold up to rifles like this. Mostly metal. The clip that comes with it is plastic. I got a metal clip for about $15. The foregrip is also plastic and a little wobbly. The quad rail is a very tough solid plastic. The adjustable stock is a little wobbly also but still very cool and pretty strong. The accuracy is decent, but I will probably upgrade the barrel to improve it. Effective range is about 50 yards, but I can hit targets 60 yards or more away.

It's not a bad gun for the price, The sling is junk and I knew that, the piston has plastic gear teeth and they did strip out after the 2nd airsoft game. I did replace it with a stronger piston with all metal teeth, it was $15 not too bad. The rear folder stock feels nice but it is kinda anoying because with the clip in the gun it does not fold under the gun.The selector has a screw in it that kept falling out so I put on loc tite to hold it in and it has not came out yet. Also the fuse for the battery kept coming off causing the gun to have no power. I did install a new fuse holder and fuse that wont come apart. Also lost the front sights b/c it did fall off due to a cheep screw in the gun, I did however weld it back in place and its sweet now.
Over all I feel the gun isnt a bad gun if you know about airsoft guns. For the price its ok. The supplyer is great, with good communication and fast shipping. The ak-47 isnt a bad gun as long as you do have the type 2 gearbox all metal with metal busings. This gun did not come with metal bushings but I did do the upgrade. The gun works well after a few mods, it also looks hella cool with the rail system on it. I hope all this info helps you and if you do like this gun, I would buy it agian, and invest $50 into it and have one sweet airsoft gun.

I am very disappointed, my son got to use it 1 time and the gun started falling apart. I thought for the money that was spent on it, he would get some good use of it. I want to find out who I can complain to about it. I didn't get any kind of warranty or anything. My son is gluing pieces back on so it works, I feel terrible because it was a Christmas gift for him. Very, very disappointed!

First impression of this gun was great. It looks nice, shoots hard and is nice and accurate stock. However, I used cheap bbs in it and they ruined my barrel and bucking. So don't use them with this gun, replacement parts were ~$60. Definitely a great beginner gun, the folding stock, contrary to popular belief, does fold all the way up, you just have to pull the halves very slightly apart to get it up and around the handguard, but it will stay there.

Pros:
Shoots Hard and Accurate
Lots of metal, minus the lower receiver and handguards/grips
Adjustable metal sights, both rear and front are adjustable
Hi-Cap mag works pretty good, few misfeeds
Folding stock for storage or cqb
Comes with a nice folding foregrip, wind key for the mag and front sight tool
100% compatible with aftermarket parts

Cons:
Selector Switch likes to loosen itself and then switch itself once it gets loose. You just have to pop off th little cap and tighten the screw, but it's a pain in the ass to do all the time
Battery life is only a couple hours
Slightly heavy (doesn't bother me but for some people it might. ~8 lbs)
The Outer barrel and gas tube were very wobbly. I had to take mine apart, tighten everything and then do some DIY shimming because when the front end wobbles it moves the front sight all over the place.
Kinda tough to get the battery in until you get the hang of it. The trick is to connect the battery THEN tuck the wires into the gun until the tamiya connector is tucked in too.

I've had the gun for quite a while. Over a year of not really using it. Finally writing a review now that the gun is broken. I've had plenty of problems and minor annoyances with the gun, and some of it is due to design error. The folding stock is a great idea, but the RIS rail on the bottom gets in the way of folding it up. There is a bulge on the foregrip so the stock physically can not go up high enough to lock into place. If you're going to want a versatile variable stock, this isn't it. The foregrip has to be replaced with a standard one if you want to lock and forget that stock in CQB.

My gun actually didn't come with a rear sight. I can't comment on how good the sights are because of that. Typically, I just aim down the rails and through the front sight. I don't know if that was just my gun and an oversight or what, but it wasn't a huge deal. Easy fix with a Red Dot Sight.

The gun itself is durable as hell. My first time taking it into the field and I had a mishap with a bee's nest in a heavily forested area. The gun itself hit quite a few trees on the way out. The battery cover did come off, but the only things that were damaged were the batter cover latch (the spring inside was bent from a hit) and the front sight (one of the side protecters was bent badly). The gun can take some abuse and it still worked perfectly well for another two hours.

Battery life is great. Easily went through 3500 rounds before I needed a recharge. Takes a 4hr 20 minute charge.

The reason the gun is now broken is likely due to my tinkering. The wiring on the gearbox needs to fixed, but the gun still shoots as hard as the day I bought it, which is just under 400 fps. I will certainly be getting it fixed and using it more often.
