By the time you other shoppers see this, I hope Amazon has updated the picture to an accurate one.

If you are seeing an image of a smooth black jacket DO NOT BUY THIS. That is not what you'll receive in the mail. I will try posting a picture of it above.

Please note, if you do want a black and white hounds-tooth wool trench, this really is a beautiful jacket. Definitely not the style or material I was looking for, but if this was my style, I'd think it was good quality.

Like the other reviewers, I thought I was getting a black wool coat, but received the houndstooth one. I had ordered it for a gift and the intended recipient will definitely not like this pattern. However, I tried it on and love it for myself, so am keeping it. It does run small. I usually wear a small petite and I ordered the small (regular) and it fit me perfectly. Most regular sizes are too big in the shoulders and too long-waisted for me, so this coat runs small and shorter in the body. Order a size larger than you need. Otherwise, it is well-made and the cut is very flattering. Four stars because of the color mix-up. Additional info: Note also that the picture from Amazon doesn't have a belt and the collar is different - it's a completely different coat. The customer image from Llana is the accurate image.

The photo of this showed a black wool coat, so I was surprised when I received a black/gray/white houndstooth coat. Although I was hesitant at first (I'm fairly conservative), now I love this coat. It's just different enough to make me feel stylish. Not only that but it's a perfect fit and is very warm.

I purchased this coat after reading the reviews and knowing it was hounds tooth. Yahoo removed their picture of the black coat and kept the customer's picture which showed the correct fabric and details. The coat arrived and it is as lovely as the picture. I have noticed that the belt at the waist is a little higher than the waist for me which I may decide to adjust. Other than that, the coat is comfortable. I purchased the largest available at that time which was an XL, and being a 1X, it fits fine. I am very pleased with this purchase

While I agree that it is misleading how they show a picture of a black coat, after reading the other reviews and looking at the picture submitted by the other customer I decided to go ahead and purchase. I love this coat! It fits perfect and is very warm. I disagree with the other reviewer who said it's short in the body and sleeves. I'm 5'8" with long arms and it fits me just fine. It's very stylish and an awesome price.

I absolutely love this coat! I was expecting a black coat, but wasn't sure what would show up with the color description. The minute I put it on, I started getting compliments on it. Definitely a winner!

I also received this jacket today and was very disappointed. It is not a pretty black jacket like the photos showed when I ordered. Its a very unflattering (especially in the XL size I ordered) houndstooth print.

I like the cut and fit of the jacket, but the print is hideous. I'm very, very disappointed. :(

this is a chic jacket for a very reasonable price. i bought it as a Christmas present for myself & have already received lots of compliments on it. it is nice, warm & stylish, what else could a girl ask for???

which is the black and white houndstooth. The problem is that the white is not white:it's more of a dirty gray. There are no clear demarkation lines between the black and the "white." The colors run into each other giving the coat an old or well-worn look. The picture here looks much better than the real version. I may return this coat. On the plus side, it is very thick and warm yet pliable, not stiff, and it is fully lined. My only (but major) disappointment is the drabness of the material.

When I picked this coat, I knew I was taking a chance, ordering outerwear online. But I figured Amazon was a trustworthy vendor, and Anne Klein was a well-known brand. Imagine my surprise when the coat arrived. It's lovely, but the sizing is so small that I'm surprised fewer people haven't commented on it. I'd say it runs about a full size small. Quite disappointing. Now I'm back to square one. And not going to order a coat online!
