The jacket was apparently worn before because it had no tags affixed and it had Ricola cough drops in each pocket! (fortunately the candy was wrapped so it didn't damage the jacket) It also had slips in the pockets (along with the candy) which said "inspected by 42." I wonder if #42 left the candy himself! I decided to keep the jacket anyway because it fits and is quite lovely. However, it did not even come with a bill or invoice. The tag from Amazon.com was simply scotch-taped onto the plastic bag. When I tried to leave feedback for Amazon about the packaging, I got a message saying that feedback was not accepted for this item.

This is a beautiful coat- very well-made with tailoring details usually found on much more expensive clothing. The princess seam details in front and back are very flattering and the sleeve cuff detailing adds a unique touch.
The style is very elegant and classic and should work for nearly any body type. My only comment is that this is a lighter weight wool than I had expected. It will serve me well in transitional weather but is not for the extreme cold winter months - at least not without a lot of layers underneath. (FYI - I tend to get cold easily anyway, but for reference, this coat is not warm enough for me when the temperature drops below around 40 degrees.)
But I am very happy with my purchase - I have the winter white coat and always receive many compliments when I wear it. The lighter weight does allow for a greater range of movement and is not bulky at all, which also makes it more comfortable to wear than a heavier weight wool.

Quality fabric, but i think i got the wrong color, white is not as elegant as dark colors, and i cant seem to find the nice match of trousers to make it look elegant. i use it as casual coat, cant say it looks bad, but let's say, not as i expected.

I got this coat for my Mom, who is petite. It fits well and looks great except the sleeves are a little long. Also, it is not a warm jacket. It is fairly thin, and it came out of the box very wrinkled up. I was hoping the wrinkles would just fall out but it needed a trip to the dry cleaner for pressing before it could be worn.

The quality cut and style of this garment was beautiful. So glad I bought this, I noticed other reviews commented that it wasn't 'heavy' enough but for our climate it's just perfect for winter.
