I have been a dj for 25 years, and just as some of the others who submitted reviews, I was interested in finding a good pair of headphones that were worth the price. I have seen the many djs wearing the Pioneer headphones or Technics headphones, probably because they have seen so many so called "famous" djs wearing them. Let's be real, if their famous they probably have an endorsement or at least got the headphones for free, so of course their going to wear them! I was interested in finding good quality, good sounding headphones, that were also loud enough for big gigs. As far as the price, these are the best headphones I have ever purchased, and laugh at other djs I have reccomended these to that end up spending 150-200.00 on the pioneer or Technics headphones. Besides the power and sound quality, these are the most comfortable headphones I have ever owned! I have worn them for 4 hour sets with no ear discomfort whatsoever! Now the features, I love the swivel ears! Instead of pulling one ear back or popping them off and on to check the monitiors vs. headphones, I now just give one or both ears a swivel out. They stay in place when swiveled unlike all other headphones I have tried that end up slipping or falling off when you try this. Excellent for monitoring because you can hear the headphone sound, and your monitors or club sound withhout worrying about them falling off or having to struggle to put them back on, just flip them back in place! If you battle or do tricks, there is a cool feature of pulling the cord from the headphone, so you do not get tangled up in the cord. Next feature- I love using split cue, although not all mixers have the capability, if you do have one, set your mixer cue for split cue, then you can use the switch on the headphone to switch to mono which will give you split cue, and then you can conveniently flip the switch on your these headphones to stereo, without having to switch anything on the mixer. The switch is conveniently located on the side of the headphone, so if your one of those that needs to hold your headphones when monitoring closely, you can use this switch to switch between split cue and stereo, to ensure that what your monitoring, whether sound quality or beat-matching, is right! When not in use, they fold up nicely a couple of different ways, and fit snugly in the included bag. Enuf said!

I've had these headphones for just over a week, and I'm very impressed. I've worn them for 5 hours with absolutely zero ear fatigue, even though they fit on the ear. Their sound isolation is great: in noisy clubs you can easily hear exactly what you want to when you want to with these.
I use these with the Audio 4 DJ USB audio interface by Native Instruments, which has its own headphone output, and with a quality headphone amp they sound great. How? They're close to flat with pleasant light coloring. The bass sounds full and punchy as it should and the highs are bright and clean. Everything sounds distinct, not muddy like some headphones. I've turned them up quite a bit to where you can feel the headphones shake slightly on the bass notes, and I couldn't hear any distortion. At full volume the sound is so clean that they don't sound overly loud either, but when you take them off you realize how loud they are since you can hear them from halfway across the room. My only reservation is that the 3d swivel portion is made of plastic which might or might not have some durability/longevity issues. But on good note the construction seems fairly modular. So it appears that you could simply swap out anything that might break fairly easily. Other aspects: The headphones fold up pretty well to and they come with a cloth carrying case so they're very transportable, as they need to be for DJs. The ear pads are easily replacable vinyl, not velvet -- again probably to encourage durability. All said and done, I'd buy these again, well worth it, and I'd recommend these to any DJ.

I scoured all sorts of websites looking for people's opinions on headphones with robust bass response and good sound fidelity. These headphones often came up, however their price was often a dissuading factor. I love music and sound in general so I decided that they were worth it -- and they are. They blow my similarly priced Bose headphones out of the water. The bass is amazing and yet it still responds well to mid and high ranges.
The build is sturdy and foldability (I made that word up) makes it easy to quickly put away if one needs to leave their computer for a quick minute. Good buy.
