The sound quality was great.

I checked it and it looks like the glue applied to it was very thin and can not hold the pressure from the sponge inside.

Really that what I get for 300 dollars.

I am writing this review simply to compare Bose QC 15 and AKG K840. I have had a bose QC 15 for about one year and I handled the headphones like a baby. Very very careful with it, gentle, always stored properly. Minimal usage (6 hours weekly). And then the most unexpected thing happened. Mr fragile Bose broke. It simply broke on the plastic body. The electronics are fine but the swivel head broke and then I noticed small cracks all over the plastic body. Really that what I get for 300 dollars. Ohhhh!!!!! I am so mad. I looked up online and realized that I am not alone. This is the most common problem with the QCs. So I swore that I will never ever buy QC again and will preach about the ultra cheap build of the product. Then I decided to buy AKG for various reasons. Great product. Wireless connectivity is superb. Minimal hiss in idle mode. Once you start the movie or the music, you really cant notice the hiss. So far they feel solid. Comfortable on the ears. Everything is great, the sound quality is great but then I compared them to the QC sound and that is where QC wins. Specifically, Bose has more depth/Bass to it, while the K840 has a comparatively flat sound. Now that is highly subjective. I personally like slightly high bass (hence I prefer the QCs) but not everyone does. Besides this little difference, the sound quality of K840 is simply great. All frequencies are clear and crisp. I would buy them again if they last me longer than the QCs did. Never a Bose QC again.

Great headset. Versatile, in that it is also portable. Use in your home stereo or on the go with mobile phone, i-pod, etc. Transmitter plugs into unit you will be listening to, then flip switch on trans. and headset. Range depends, but usually between 30 and 60 feet. Comfortable on-ear phones will not cause ears to sweat. Well made. No noise is a major plus. Pricey, but worth it.

Love the sound of the headphones.Very clean the bass is not over driven but deep and tight enough for Bach or Emerson ,Lake & Palmer. The high crystal Clear not hissy and more volume then you can use. The phones are comfortable they sit on your ear not covering it I can wear them for hours. Ear bud headphones hurt my ears after a short time. AKG give you slew of accessories from the transmitter as small as a Bic lighter, cables for charging and listening three power adapters for any country and two black rubber band not listed in the manual. I found out they are to attach the transmitter to your iPod and they work with the touch screen.
Like I said in the title portable too most wireless headphones have large transmitters that need to be plug into power the transmitter for the AKGs is small and rechargeable like the headphones both charge fast and last a long time I had mine for three weeks now and only have recharged them once after the first time.

AKG....All Kinds of Great sound

I have apprehensions about buying wireless headphones especially bluetooth sets, but this product definitely rocks! Tried it with my laptop and ipod and it sounds great but not without its limitations....I tried it out in a little bit cold and windy conditions and the signals break off...so using it outdoors or during physical activities is on a case by case I guess.....battery life is ok, it will last three days with about 8-10 hour usage but will last a week or so if you use it only 2-3 hrs at a time..use it indoors or during travels its definitely great....thumbs up for this one!

I bought these for my husband when he works out at the gym. The only issue we found was in the wireless doggle if hanging on the side then the found would break up for about 1/4 of second ever few minutes. But if the doggle was supported, then the sound quality was perfect.

Super HIFI sound!!!!
I LOVE the headphone so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the bass so strong!! and the perfect soprano!!!
Strongly recommend~~
These headphones are LOUD, you don't need to put you IPod on max lest you want to go ear blind. I would max out MY Bose IE2s just to get good sound out of them, but these I keep at like 70%, they are powerful.

Thanks to the Kleer wireless technology, it delivers wide-range, uncompressed stereo sound;
It's lightweight, portable, convenient to carry outside without any annoying lines.
GREAT! Better than Sennheiser RS 180 which you can only use at home. I don't have RS 180, so forget about the sound quality.

The sound quality is first rate, especially for wireless. They can be worn when wearing eyeglasses. They exert just a bit of pressure on the ears, but they're new so I expect they will loosen up as time goes by. (Forget the fat head jokes -- I will lose weight this year) Buy them if you can afford them -- wireless is the way to go!
