Learned of this stuff from samples given by my Dr for (pain) treatment of arthritis in my right hand. Works better than anything else I've ever used. Side benefit is that I've always had a patch on my shin that is dry and itchy -particularly after trans-Atlantic flights. After applying too much to my hand one day, I rubbed the excess on my shin. Felt a bit better, so did it for several days and noticed dramatic improvement -far better than normal hand creams. Not sure why that would be, but I can't argue w/ results. Pricey stuff locally, and not widely stocked, buying 3 or more tubes at a time from Target via Amazon is the least expensive route I've found.

Not sure yet that this is helping my arthritis, but only time will tell. So I will give it at least a month before a definite decision is made. Certainly is worth trying for anyone with arthritic pain.
