These are as cute as the picture. I bought them for a casual throw on boot. Sadly the length was too short and after a short time my big toe was very unhappy. The width is fine, a little wide even. So it jsut seem that it isn't made standard to size.

I bought these boots in brown at an Aldo store about a year ago. The employee who helped me recommended buying the insoles they sold there so I bought those too. I'm not actually much of a shoe obsessed person (I think I own 6 pairs in total) but I'm so glad I got these. I started off wearing them occasionally and got a lot of compliments. Now I wear them just about everyday. I feel like I can wear plain clothes as long as I wear these boots to make the outfit cute, which is why it's so sad that they have holes in the bottom. They're pretty comfortable by my standards (my feet do hurt after walking a ways but no where near what they would if I were wearing high heels, my sneakers are only a tad bit more comfy than these) and I don't account the holes to the quality of the boots but the fact that I've been wearing them nearly everyday for the past 9 months and I tend to drag my feet somewhat when I walk (the holes have developed underneath my heels). As for sizing, I'm normally a size 9 and these shoes fit me in size 10 pretty well. They are wider but I don't find that my feet slip around, it's more that they aren't confined. I almost forgot to mention that the straps that go around the back (they're just for decoration - the shoes are easy to put on because they just zip up) are kind of loose and I fold paper clips around the bottom and middle ones so that the bottom straps don't slip down while I'm walking only to step on them, if you don't want to do a ridiculous fix like mine you could probably just punch new holes in the straps to tighten them up a little. I would recommend these if you order a size up and buy insoles unless your feet hurt if you don't wear shoes with arch support. I'm ordering a new pair in the same color to replace my worn down ones so that should let you know how much I like them right there!

I bought these thinking they would be a really quick and easy boot to throw on for Chicago winters and I was WRONG. This boot was not true to size (I wear an 8 1/2 and got a 9) and the bottom of the boot is slick giving no traction. Under the little fold on top of the boot is your foot, I lifted it up and saw my sock. I think they missed the mark with this one, no wonder why it was on clearance.
