Ouuuch!!!, January 31, 2010
2/22 Sent these boots back and up until today Aldo's still has not issue a refund. Spoke to 4 different reps. they lied to me that refund should take 3-4 days and almost 1 month later I am yet to see my money. I spoke with a supervisor today, who said that reps. are supposed to say that to customers about the 3-4 days wait (I guess to lie to the customers) but that they have also received too many returns and are backed logged! How come I am not surprised!! Their return and refund instructions were to call them directly, so I did, but you also want to give a business the opportunity to do right, however, since I have been lied to several times with no results, I have now gotten Amazon involved to get my money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PEOPLE, I TOLD YOU SO!!
Now, the quality of these boots is soooo bad and the picture is somewhat deceiving because of the way it was shot it does not really show the design of the boot. The heel appears to be like a regular more modern type heel, very cute, I thought..., but this one is actually a wedge with this gray hard plastic material in between, take a real close look at the picture! horrible! When I put them on I felt like the bride of Frankenstein, I actually had to laugh because I could not even walk or walked just like her. Most uncomfortable pair of shoes I have ever tried and again quality is inferior. The suede has no support of any type and when you walk your feet actually come out of position every time you take a step. Aldo's is not customer driven and are selling inferior products at high prices! Sorry I am so harsh but it is the truth and other people need to read this and be aware of their business practice. Amazon should also re-evaluate who they partner with, after-all, is their name on the line and customers like myself trust that Amazon is properly checking on those business. Although there is safety net to protect customers from dishonest retailers, nobody wants to spend time filing claims or writing negative reviews. Thank you.
