These aren't as comfortable as my tennis shoes, but they'll do if you're looking for something fashionable to wear for minimal period of time. Not that they were uncomfortable, just that they aren't meant for long walks around the park. I found that they warmed my feet a little...I probably wouldn't recommend this for summer wear.

Despite not having a zipper for easy wear and removal, I found that they weren't too much of a hassle to put on and off. The leather is also nice and soft, and the shoes themselves look pretty good.

Also, I agree with the other reviewer that these shoes run a bit small. I normally wear a size 9.5 and was debating whether to get size 9 or 10. I'm glad I went a size up, because size 10 fits like a size 9.5. They're perfect...perhaps an eensy bit tight when I wear thicker socks, but with thin socks or black pantyhose (which looks great with combat boots by the way), they'll do.

Now about the shipping service...I was not given a tracking number, and I didn't even notice when the package came until I checked my mailbox again. The box was lying right next to my mailbox, in an area where anyone could pick it up and run off with it. This is mostly the courier's fault and not Aldo's, but a tracking number would have been nice.

I wanted a pair of ankle boots that had the motorcycle/grunge inspired look, and these boots are perfect! They look awesome with a pair of skinny jeans or tights. I can't walk in heels, so these are great for me, the low heel gives me a little bit of a height boost which I like, but still make it comfortable for me to walk around all day in them. I recommend sizing up. I usually wear a 7-7.5, I ordered these in 8 and they are perfect! A little loose when I'm wearing thin socks, but perfect when I'm wearing thicker socks. Great buy!

These looked like what I wanted. However, when I received them they were very stiff. Was (still am) looking for a soft leather, lower on the ankle. These come up as high ankle. Also when I laced them up and tied them, the tongue immediately slid to the side, every time, making the top of the boot come together. Front curve's up higher than the picture. The front is a combination of rounded and pointy. *sigh*.

My teen granddaughter loves these boots. They are very similar to the boots worn in the movie "The Last Song" by Miley Cyrus. I looked everywhere and these were very reasonably priced considering they were so hard to find and in comparsion to the few others found. She said she wore them daily and were comfortable. Ordered a size up, fit perfect.

I loved how this boot looked, but I hated how it fit. It was too loose & very uncomfortable to wear. I tried thicker socks & an insole, but nothing helped so I had to return it. Maybe I just don't have a "combat boot" foot!
