Your children will love this, as did mine. It's nice to look at , easy to understand, and it will show your child the aleph bais at a very early age. Start now mom, this is the book to begin with. A must have for every Jewish family. bg

This small book has a lot of information and is useful for all denominations. Each letter of the Alef Bet (Hebrew alphabet)is presented on a 2-page spread. The letter is shown along with its name in English and Hebrew. The script form of the letter is shown as well as it's numeric equivalent (alef=1). Plus, the letter is shown with all posible vowel combinations. There is a quote in Hebrew --(with translation and the quote's source) that begins with that letter . Six excellently illustrated pictures that begin with the letter are presented with Hebrew spelling, the transliteraton, and the translation. Finally there is large picture illustrating some of the vocab. words in a sentence (words are transliterated. Ex.:(This poor dov (bear)went lokoing for devash (honey)but he found a devora (bee)instead!

It's very attractive to and colorful so you and your children will really enjoy learning.
It's so nice that my daughter prefers learning the Aleph Bet rather than the
Alphabet. You will not regret buying this book, it's fantastic.
