Purchasing a new version of Aleks rather than looking for a deal on eBay is the way to go. The code is only good for a semester, so if you get a used one, it won't work.

The code for Alex User's Guide is not correct for the Elementary and Intermediate Algebra for UOP texbook when purchasing separately. It was not the 2nd edition.

I was scared to order this program at first because of all the negative reviews. I'm glad I went ahead and ordered because the program is exactly what I need and it costs nearly twenty bucks less then my campus bookstore. The access code is valid for one term and it arrived very quickly.
