The worldwide ALPCA celebrated it's 50th year with a FULL COLOR commemorative book that documents the history of license plate collecting around the world.
This book contains an illustrated overview of 100 years of license plates- showing one or two color license plates and story for each year 1905 through 2004. Each year through history is somehow reflected in the story of the license plate. The ALPCA 50th Anniversary Collectors Edition also showcases the history of the association since it's beginning in 1954, and documents the growth of license plate collecting as a hobby in general. Finally, over 250 worldwide members' profiles are included. Two longtime license plate historians present this coffee-table volume, with all royalties going to ALPCA. This book has received a tremendous positive response from license plate collectors and historians, since there are few books on the subject. |
