just check your flow rate before buying,

This product works as it says it does but just beware that it takes a flow of 6 gallons per minute for it to siphon otherwise it back-fills the container of what you're injecting. I wanted it for my greenhouse misters but they don't have enough flow volume so it didn't work for what I needed it to. I gave it a five star rating because it does what it says it will do.

I bought this to apply a compost tea to my lawn...part of my effort to go organic in my yard. It worked great, just inserted the suction tube into the bucket of brewed compost tea and used a garden hose to spray it on the whole lawn in less than 15 min. By the way, the compost tea works great as well...I've never seen the grass grow so fast!

Veggie Garden application,
By Tom M (Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: CONNECTOR HOZON SYPHON
This thing works great for applying MG liquid fertilizer to my veggie garden. I tested the pressure at my hose bib and it was 54lbs., well above the minimum recommended pressure of 35lbs. for this unit to work. I made a 1/2" PVC watering wand using a $2 plastic shower head from HD, bored the restrictor out to 11/64" and this thing works great as long as I put it between the end of the garden hose and the watering wand, it didn't work when put between the hose bib and the start of the garden hose but I'm not complaining, carrying the bucket and wand still beats making individual batches of liquid fertilizer and the gentle water flow gives me much more control than the pressure put out by a MG feeder. It also provides a consistent amount of fertilizer until all the solution is gone, unlike the MG feeder which gets weaker as the solution is being diluted by the constant addition of water to the solution.
