Pick is well balanced for one-handed use and quite strong. While I don't plan on breaking rocks with it, it should do very well as a digging device. It is to be use in meteorite hunting and I expect it will become a very valued tool as it is easy to carry in the field. I'd certainly recommed it to anyone needing to carry such a device and wanting a great tool that's doesn't add a lot of weight to the mix.
