Sharon Penchina is a motivational speaker who realized the need to help children build a strong foundation of self-esteem at an early age. Dr. Stuart Hoffman is a Chiropractor specializing in children's care. Together, they have created a series of books and Audio CDs. There is also a plush toy - the Lovable Me Bug.

The art in this book is delightful and the little bug is quite lovable. This affirmation book will help children to understand the need for positive internal dialogue. Children will learn about the importance of family, healthy eating and imagination. They learn to breathe deeply, share toys and appreciate nature.

There is also a good dose of humor:

"I remember things easily,
Because, I pay attention.
I like to be read to,
Did I happen to mention?"

I am a Lovable Me is filled with vibrant art and a heart-healing message. As the little loveable bug zooms around the pages, the affirmations sink in and could change a child's life for the better.

I have spent years reading and listening to positive, inspirational and motivational books and tapes in attempt to make me the best that I can be. I had always wished that I knew way back when, what I know now. Finally, a book for children that gives them the edge for becoming the best that they can be. My grandson was fascinated with this book from day one (which is when I first read it to him). Now, three years, and two copies later, it is still his favorite book. If you desire to give your child a head start on a positive and ultimately successful life, this book is a must!

This series of books is absolutley wonderful and I recommend them to any parent or grandparent, especially this book!! It teaches children how to be positive, kind and loving to themselves at a very young age which is a key ingredient to creating loving, kind adults who make a huge difference in the world when they grow up.

We were first introduced to I AM a Lovable ME! shortly after our son was born. The messages are positive and uplifting, and our son really enjoys the vivid, colorful illustrations. We also recommend another book in this series...Take a deep breath...watching our little guy "take a deep breath and breathe out slowly" and seeing the calming effect on him (and us) is incredible! Thanks for this awesome series of books...we're looking forward to reading them to our next baby too!!!

I bought this book for my nephews and they absolutely love it. It is the first children's book I have seen that not only has a story, but an important message as well. It teaches children to love themselves and be happy with who they are. It really boosts self-esteem and is a valuable lesson to teach all children. I would highly recommend it. It makes a great present.

I bought this book for both my grandchildren. When I sit and read to them they love to look at the pictures,especially the Lovable Me, bug. The pages are filled with colorful illustrations. The writing is so uplifting, full of praise for the child, and always reminding the child that they are loved.

This book definitely has the power to make an amazing difference in a child's life. It teaches children an incredibly important lesson--to love themselves. This book provides a powerful foundation of self-esteem and self-confidence. Not only do I read it to my daughter, but it's the most popular gift I give to every child in my life.

ANY message expressing the ultimate importance of realizing inner peace and the power of loving oneself, is vital for all children and adults. A very lovely book.

Everyone deserves to feel that they are valued...that we each have a place in this world. Who doesn't want to feel wanted, loved, and appreciated? It's especially important for children to feel that they are loved and special. Children who aren't given these positive affirmations tend to have low self-esteem and a poor self-image.
