5.0 out of 5 stars Great and Very Useful! January 25, 2012
Verified Purchase
Very pleased and impressed with this app! By far much more then I expected. Well worth every cent! Very clear instructions and diagrams. Easy to find most ailments and issues. Easy to set up for different languages. The only thing I wish it had was an option to store/save points to favorites. But, for 2.00, not gonna complain!

4.0 out of 5 stars Rather Impressed! Helped Sciatic Issue and Tinnitus. October 25, 2012
By LBBP

This app isn't the easiest to understand, but it came along when I was suffering debilitating back and sciatic pain that even pain killers didn't help. I was a hair's breath away from seeing a chiropractor before agreeing to surgery. What did I have to lose? There were several back pain treatments in the app and I tried each one of them, particularly as I was unclear if I was supposed to experiment until I found relief, or do all of them. In any event, one treatment resulted in almost immediate relief. The pain cut in half almost instantly. Within 24 hours the entire pain was gone and I was walking and moving as if I had never had the issue. I am hard on my back and when I feel a twinge coming back, I start an acupressure.

I had also developed pulsating tinnitus, where I could hear the blood rushing in my ears, which was driving me crazy. After finding out that this wasn't necessarily a blood pressure, heart, or tumor condition, but often an issue with pressure on the veins from muscles, I started the acupressure treatments, and used the acupressure techniques to massage my own neck and shoulders. Once again, the condition diminished after the first two-minute session. It took a few days for it to clear up, and am now able to stave it off.

My biggest issue is the lack of information describing each maneuver, and it is often unclear exactly where a point is. However, I am convinced that "even if you don't do it right" there is ancillary benefit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Informative February 15, 2012

Having practiced reflexology for many years I jumped at the chance to get an app like this on my fire. It's helpful to have acupressure right at my fingertips so to speak.

2.0 out of 5 stars Attrix screen problem May 9, 2013

While as I can see that this app has a wealth of information that would far surpass simply having maps of the pressure points, it is lacking in that I find that I cannot pan the screen so as to read the section where it describes the method for simulating the point. That is precisely the feature that would make this priceless, and they it cannot be application done. On most of the points, I can only see part or none of the method section. The screen cannot be scrolled up to see the descrption of how to massage the point. Please fix this so it works! This can be a great app!!!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars difficult to find points October 8, 2012

I have had acupuncture treatments with great success, but they can be costly. Thought I would try acupressure because I use it for pain in my neck. It's a little difficult to find the right spot from the pictures in the book, but with a little experimenting it can be done

3.0 out of 5 stars good but not great May 6, 2013
Verified Purchase
I love the info in the app and the points are exactly what I needed. However, if the info doesn't fit in the screen I can't read it because it won't scroll in portrait mode. When its in landscape it will scroll but the words and images don't work with it. The only thing you can see is what is directly on the screen when it originally pulls it up. That means that specific tips about how to find a spot or of you are supposed to apply pressure intermittently is lost.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not for noobs May 2, 2012

This seems like an okay app, except that there's no warning that you need a little experience to do this without getting frustrated with the somewhat vague instructions. But if you do have a little experience with massage therapy or such, you'll probably find this app to be just dandy
