I am a very dedicated student of late Dr. Joseph Murphy Ph.D. I have about ten books from him, and all of his ideas and realizations are those which are being used in other self-help and inspiration books later on.

This book in question, is a general view on your life and cosmic laws which one can apply to his life. Reader would be better off buying the Power of Your Subconscious Mind since these books are very much alike. If you have read the Power of Your Subconscious Mind, and want to save your money -- don't buy this book. Rather buy telephysics by Dr. Joseph Murphy.

However, if you want to learn more about Dr. Murphy's techniques and life. This book is certainly worth of your time.

I purchased this book about 5 years ago. Whenever I am in a slump or not in a positive spot in my life, this is the book I pick up that always changes my thought process. This is packed with real stories of how people transformed their lives by their thoughts and visualization. It is tremendously powerful! It makes you realize how powerful your mind is. Even if you have only 5 minutes to read, you can take advantage of the stories in here. They are short and to the point! I highly recommend it!

I first came across this book ten years ago in a second hand book shop in Stoke on Trent. After reading it from cover to cover, I can honestly say that it changed my life, and goes on changing it each day.

The book is divided into easily digestable sections, effectively bullet-pointed at the end of each chapter.

It discusses twelve "Universal Laws", and gives the readers examples of the affirmations used, and results obtained.

In 1991, I lost my copy and only managed to track down the title in late 1997, since when my life has been transformed for the second time.

If you are searching to find the strength to change your life by changing yourself from within - this may well be the only book you need buy !

If you're a fan of Dr. Joseph Murphy and his wisdom, read an original copy of this book and NOT this revised edition. The original book, published in 1965, is beautifully written and timeless. Many of Murphy's books, including this one, have been "revised" and "updated" with a co-author in an attempt to appeal to a modern audience of spiritual seekers. But in his lifetime, Murphy never needed or used a "co-author," as his books were (and still are) perfect just as they were originally written.
Although this book is 40 years old, it doesn't need to be revised or changed in any way. Dr. Murphy had a beautiful and unique way of expressing his wisdom. These revised editions are watered-down and lack the original flavor. They are essentially no different than any other modern self-help book. Read the original instead!

I am on my third Joseph Murphy book. I honestly believe that God led me to his first book, "The Power of the Subconscious Mind". I was raised Southern Baptist and always thought of God as something to be feared, that I was to be punished for all my sin, that we were here to endure trials. The Bible does talk about God's wrath and punishment for sin, but it also talks about God's mercy and His wish for us to live life abundantly. Mr. Murphy's books focuses on that part of God. I haven't had any miracles happen during the time I have been reading his books, but I have learned to stop worrying, hence my health has improved. I have started to forgive others and to forgive myself. I don't question if God wants to bless me anymore before I pray, I now know that He wants to bless me. My faith in God is growing. I also like the fact that Mr. Murphy only mentions one God and quotes from the one and only Bible, not like some of these new age writers that recognize all religions.

I was introduced to this work when I was in vocational school I read some of the ideas and following the suggestions I made my first grade of 100. Needless to say I was hooked on these books, the powerful writing in this very special person this is very inspiring to many people who read this book that why i give this book a 5* thank you

I have read three books from this author. About a year ago, I came across with a book "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind". Everafter I have been interested in Joseph Murphy's books. Joseph Murphy explains you some of the most amazing laws of cosmic mind power that will help you on your path to success. He has written carefully 15 chapters on some of the most profound areas of the life.

It has been my dream to move to the States, and become a police officer there. I believe that Joseph Murphy's books will help me to achieve my goals, and help others to help themselves.

I promise that this book will reveal a whole "new you" to you. However, I gave it only 4 stars as something is missing from this book. It is simple, and a reader who is looking for very advanced hints won't find many of them. This book is a good and basic resource for creating success.. but I would still recommend you to read to read The Powermind System and Power Pause.

I purchased this book over 25 years ago and it is still very helpful to this day.It seems to speak to you personally and gives you the added encouragement you may need at the time to go on and through any difficulty.This book is easy to read and understand.It's for everyone. Enjoy!

Dr. Murhpy's book is easy to read, informative and never a waste of time. There are many prayers which can completely reveal a new way to think about life's myriad of situations. For me, I always put the book down feeling my mood and outlook better and changed from when I picked it up.

How can McMahan dare rewrite many parts of Joseph Murphy's book when the original text is very easily understandable by even a beginner of English?

More, he changed at many places stories involving men with women!!!! More crazy than that, it is not possible!
And he wrote quotes that are not even from the author.

For this vital, very important book, you only want the exact (word-for-word) content of the original book, nothing else. Stay away from expanded or revised editions!! What you really want is an edition that has NOT been revised or edited in any way!!

So, make sure you get that with another version of this title. So far, I cannot find one version of this title for which I can be 100% sure that it is the original copy of this title!!! If you know such a version, please leave a comment. Thanks.
