I've had it two months and like the subject line says this CPU is incredible bang for your buck.

If you are looking for a budget gaming PC build, and are going with a discrete graphics card, this is a great budget processor. This is basically an A10-6800K with the integrated graphics disabled; great since you wont need an iGPU anyways for games. After pairing this with a Cooler Master Hyper 212+, I was able to reach a stable 4.5Ghz overclock, which should be comparable to a new Core i3 processor but at a much lower cost (especially considering AMD FM2 motherboards are pretty cheap). I'd pay a little more for an FM2+ model so you have an upgrade path once Kaveri/Carizo are released in 2014 and 2015 respectively, however.

Firstly I would like to say if your looking for a reasonably price quad core cpu with good performance at normal tasks and could play most modern games this is it. Where this cpu really shines is when you overclock it but if you don't you still get OK not mind blowing performance.

PC Specs:
AMD Athlon x4 760k @4.1Ghz CPU
Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H FM2+ Mother-Board
Kingston KHX1600C9D3B1K2/8GX 8GB RAM
Sapphire HD6870 1GB GDDR5
Corsair CX500M Power-Supply
Western-Digital 360GB Hard-Drive Sata2
Windows 8 Pro

Here's a video I made of some well known Games running on this PC Spec to give an idea what it can do: [...]

Note I recommend an after-market cooler for this CPU for over-clocking and because the stock cooler from AMD is ridiculously loud when gaming or even when doing normal tasks like having multiple tabs open in your browser. Besides that its a good CPU for a good price, don't expect quicksilver speeds at stock/overdrive core speeds but it gets the job done. I took one star off the stock cooler, its that annoying.

All i need to say is this great CPU is the best for the price, You won't find a quad core overclockable CPU like this.
I have 1 problem but i will still give it 5 stars because for the price. The problem is the stock cooler. If you want to play games, get an aftermarket CPU cooler IMMEDIATELY. It runs like a jet engine on load, my case felt like an oven.. really. when i got my Cooler Master hyper 212 evo, which was a pain in the ass to install, it ran so much quieter it's not a question whether you should get an aftermarket cooler, it's a must, 100x colder. But other than that, best budget quad core, unlocked (meaning you can overclock) CPU.

Performancewise, this cpu has taken everything i've thrown at it with no problems at all! The cpu runs at temperatures below 30 celcius when idling and only ever gets to 40 celcius!

About 36 GFLOPS; it's over half as fast as my i5 2450M. Very snappy for the price; has some advanced CPU instructions. Seems to run a bit faster than the 750k; totally worth the money if you can't afford an Intel setup.

Put it in a gaming PC. Couldn't be happier with performance. If you don't want to spend more cash for an Intel the first go around, this is definitely the place to go.
