this is a great procesor, runs incredibly fast and can be overclocked at 3.5Ghz just by changing the multiplier. The best thing of this procesor is that if u have the right motherboard (i uses a GIGABYTE GA-MA790XT-UD4P to unlock it)u can unlock the other 2 cores and instantly get an Phenom II 950 BE

Since i got this processor I haven't had any flaws at playing, none of the games has ever flicker or anything like it! I haven't overclocked it or anything like it, I always play at 1920x1080 titles like the assassins games, all the need for speed games.

I have always been an Intel guy, but this time around I researched all of my Bang-for-the-Buck processors and MB combo's. I got this Phenom II X2 550 Black for about $90. The CPU/MB combo from tigerdirectcost cost $159. You can hardly get a descent Intel cpu for $159. My Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit experience score is like 7.2 for the CPU. My Gigabyte MA785 MB allows over-clocking and the ability to unlock the additional cores. Proceed with caution on core unlocking... I don't think one or both of my additional cores work, as I blue screened after my first attempt and barely got my windows build back up... This is by far the fastest machine I have built and This processor is great right out of the box.

the processor came but with no fan and heat sink and i wasnt able to use it without it and that made me made also the seller wouldnt fix the problem

Bought this processor to go on a Asus M4A785TD-V EVO MB, and I must say after unlocking 1 more of the cores. My new rig is definately running faster than ever. Installed Win7 in less than 20 minutes and every load I have placed on it handles it with no problems. Must say for the price and ability to unlock, its definately worth every penny. Another great product produced from AMD.

Excellent CPU, runs very cool. I have it in a GIGABYTE GA-MA790XT-UD4P as well. Changed the MB BIOS Firmware to "hybrid", and voila, the CPU is running all 4 cores enabled. Running it with an Arctik Freezer 64 Pro cooler and then CPU barely gets over 40 degrees Celsius. Multiplier is unlocked and room for overclocking as well.

Excellent overclocker... Runs Cool... Blazing Fast..What more could i say.. This is one of the best Cpu i've tried out...
