I purchased a new APU (A-10 7850K) and was wondering why it was slow with 16 GB of RAM at 1333 MHz. It should have been extremely fast with this type of RAM like all other computers. Well it turns out that AMD recommended 2400 MHz because not only does it support the AMP and XMP 1.3 profiles (I prefer AMP since it's AMD tested and approved), but the memory clock speed of the integrated Radeon R7 Graphics went from 800 to 1200 MHz!!! Yes, this RAM completes the HSA for your AMP ready motherboard. I highly recommend this type of RAM when using the APU 7850K series and above!!! Two graphics cards working with the GPU will simply beast the NVIDIA cards.

Still playing with this RAM but I like it so far.,, With this RAM from Radeon you can download their RAMDisk software for free and use up to 6GB of your RAM to make a RAMDisk. Then that can be used to speedup parts of your computer by as much as Dubbing the speed of your SSD, HDD, Internet browsing. And get true Secure Internet Browsing as well,, nice.

These 2400Mhz DDR3 sticks make the 7850K A10 chip come to life. I originally purchased AMD's 16GB gamer series 2133Mhz memory sticks. They were o.k. but the system seemed slow. Upon further research on AMD's website, I found out that 2400Mhz DDR3 ram was needed to unlock the 7850K's full potential. These sticks made a noticeable performance increase over the lower speed memory. Most games now run on medium settings without a hitch.
