Good ball if you want more stress,
This review is from: AMERICAN COVERS Morf Stress Relief Balls (Office Product)
So I read the other reviews and the Morf Stress balls also looked good online so I bought one. I received the item quickly and it was packaged well. The ball looked like I expected it to, and feels great in your hand. Seems like what I wanted.
Flash forward two weeks - The ball explodes during use (typical squeezing in your hand) all over me. A yellow goo goes all over my shirt and pants at work. So - if you want to be laughed at and replace your clothes - this will be right up your alley!

Fun Stress Ball,

This is a ball that is squeezed and the color changes from solid to a second color blending in with it, as you squeeze. No rocket science here, but then it never said it was anything but what it is.

adds stress...,

Having read the other reviews for this, I am now concerned that the ball will fail in short order.
The surface rapidly gets blemishes, and has a slightly sticky feel to it. My feeling is that the outer covering is weak and can easily break. Now that I know the contents are a gooey ink (in my case, red ink) I am afraid that it will fail and create a disgusting mess. Even with that aside, the product has some problems. The cheap rubber exterior leaves a smell on your hands, and since it's slightly sticky its surface gets dirty and is hard to wipe clean. The only upside I see is that the low cost means that I won't feel too bad about throwing it away. What a bad design for a stress-reduction product.

I got these stress balls for the guys on my (IT) team and they ALL LOVE IT! Even my managers asked for them. If you know someone that likes to play with silly things then this is perfect! They have a great 'feel' to them.. they're not like the regular 'globe' stress relief balls that we're so used to getting... these balls turn color and expand out of your hand as your squeeze them. Watching them turn different colors is lots of fun. (It seems that each ball has two colors - You see the main color when it's not being squeezed and the second color when you squeeze it) The balls are great as stocking stuffers too - but you might have to take them out of the packaging to fit it in the stocking. Happy Squeezing!

Beware of Morf Explosion,
This review is from: AMERICAN COVERS Morf Stress Relief Balls (Office Product)
My husband and I enjoyed destressing with this product for a few weeks until --as described by a previous reviewer--the product exploded, with its contents oozing, creating a mess that took an hour to clean.

It wasn't great even while working, and like others described, popped after a few weeks of normal use. The liquid inside is absolutely disgusting. You would think the manufacturers would have an ounce of sense and put a non-stainable dye inside, but nope. It exploded all over an expensive Persian rug and I have not been able to get it out yet. The rug may now be worthless. DO NOT BUY.

I am an IT Director and bought these for exercisers for my users. The outside is like a balloon, only much stronger rubber, and the inside is gel. When you squeeze them, the part that squeezes through your fingers changes color - it's cool! The resistance is very good and my users love them! Good product - great value and excellent quality!

I bought one of these for work it. It worked great for afew monthes till the ball started to get afew slices in it. Then one day it exploded on my desk while squeezing it I had to clean it up and the colored gooe inside staind my desk alittle. I order 2 more and had to baby them and make sure my finger nailes and any thing eles dident slice in to it after afew monthes of squeezing and trying to be carefully while doing it they still got slices in them. I supper glued the spot and still use them now and then at home, but I'm waiting for them to do it agin. I emailed the company about it but as you would gusse no reply

I'm surprised at the negative comments. I've had mine (purple to pink) for about 2 years now & not a leak. I have had to clean it (like everything else you touch with your hands. Don't want cold germs spreading). But, soap & water do the trick. I really like this stress ball because it gives, unlike the gel & foam ones. And, well, it's a lot prettier than that squeezable head toy that's on the market.
The only negative things I have to say is that it sometimes makes quite the odd noise when you squeeze it(upset stomach sound). Luckily, both my coworkers & I find this funny. |
