Clear and crisp and played with vigor and heart. Mass call is of course Mess Call that someone spelled wrong. What worked for me is that I review four or five calls each night before bed. I hum them first and then listen to the call on the CD. The next day, I work out on the bugle until lip fatigue sets in.

Came pretty fast. It's only a CD no instruction. A friend thinks a trumpet was used. The calls are all in the key of F. If you plan on playing along in a regulation G bugle then this is not it. If you wish to use it as a reference then this is a great choice. Just set the player on single song repeat and play until you get it. Mr. Farquhar is a great bugler/trumpeter.

Single bugle calls, clear and simple-recognizable to this Navy/Marine Corps veteran. Also some army stuff if you desire that sort of thing. Quite a lot of quality stuff.

I use this CD in my third grade classroom. The students love it! There are so many songs on this one CD.

I was my Boy Scout Troops bugler in the 50s & 60s.
Returning I know my embouchure can not cut it now.

This CD will be may savior while providing stimulating bugle calls for the Scouts.

If you like to hear those bugle calls then this is the cd for you. I love the sound of the bugle and its functions in the military. Also I'm in the boy scouts and we use bugle calls too. So its useful to have this when waking up the scouts in the morning with reveille.

I've been looking for this, What's bad about this I remenber alot of these and that gives my age away. It's nice to listen to them again.

This sounds like something for a crazy, but it includes a hauntinglly beautiful two bugle version of Taps, and oldies like "To Horse" that you don't hear every day. If you have any interest at all, you will love it.

If you need audio of bugle calls, you won't need much more than this CD. Great deal!
